Key Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for various systems and conduct testing and commissioning.
• Install electronic systems, including cabling and storage devices.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on electronic systems.
• Manage projects and follow up with clients.
• Provide onsite support to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Job Desciption:

• Lead/Mentor a group of junior Software Engineer:
• Execute full software development lifecycle
• Develop existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document, write operational documentation and maintain software functionality
• Deploy programs and evaluate feedback
• Comply with project plans
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
• Provide a detailed level of technical assistance to the customers
• Support customers by responding within the designated SLA
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues, developing solutions for customers while understanding their needs
• Perform impact analysis and coordinate implementation
• Carry out routine maintenance work
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects
• Improve system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
• Support Pre-sales and tender proposal.

Requirements:

• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
• Customer service experience or prior technical support experience
• Ability to develop software in programming languages such as Java, C++
• Experience in various operating systems such as Windows, Linux
• Familiarity in databases such as MS SQL etc.
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structure

3. Search Engineering Infrastructure: Guarantee reasonable Search architecture governance to ensure that the overall system operates smoothly.

4. Search offline processing: Construct a high freshness multi-media index and provide a reliable offline data support for Search Engine.

5. Backend engineering team building, management and development.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors.

- Excellent problem-analysis and -solving skills, have industry experience in building backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications.

- Good at coding, data structure and basic algorithm

- Good team communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Good understanding on how modern Search system is built or/and how modern Search product should be evolved.

- Industry experience in building a consumer-facing Search product.

- Experience in building a medium-size backend technical team from scratch.
