• Involved in large projects ranging from commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, healthcare and etc.
• Coordinate and carry out tender, evaluation, recommendation and award processes.
• Confidently administer the contract and effectively manage the project team and Consultants for best results.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical coordination, site and/or authorities compliance problems.
• Well versed with planning, codes and building regulations and be updated on contractual and authorities’ requirements.
• Strong design portfolio exhibiting a range of sustainable design project experience.
• Possess creative design thinking and excellent design detailing skills.

Requirements

• Architectural masters/degree recognized by Board of Architects Singapore.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of post graduate architectural experience.
• Bim/Revit, Archicad, Autocad, Sketchup, In-Design, as well as basic rendering and graphics publishing software programs.

Job Description

Summary of Job Role

To design and implement technology solutions that align with business requirements and goals, ensuring efficient and effective system integration while optimizing overall performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand business requirements and design effective technology solutions, ie: system architectures, selecting appropriate technologies, and designing integration points between different systems.
2. Solution Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and system integration plans. Ensure that the documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
3. System Integration & Development: Identify opportunities for system integration and define strategies to integrate different systems. Design and develop interfaces and/or APIs to enable seamless data exchange and interoperability between systems.
4. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Ensure that the solution design is implemented in accordance with best practices, architectural principles, and industry standards.
5. Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Evaluate & recommend technology adoption and drive innovation within the organization.

Requirements

• Experiences as an IT Solution Architect or in similar roles. Able to design, develop and implement complex technology solutions.
• Hands-on latest software development methodologies, best practices, and implementing DevOps using Azure Repo/Github.
• Hands-on on.Net, Full-stack (node.Js, React.JS), and Java development platform including its toolchains and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of architecture of micro-service, containers, web technologies, mobile development, network and security principles, and database design.
• Ability to analyse complex business requirements, document them, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system development and integration issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Self-driven individual who is able to work independently, as well as in a team.

Special Skills Requirement

• Knowledge of enterprise application integration (EAI) and service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and architecture, preferably in Azure cloud.
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration using Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizes concept and schematic designs
• Execute feasibility studies and presents design proposals
• Preparation of tender documentation, schedules and specifications
• Liaises and discuss project-relevant issues with clients
• Liaises and coordinates with consultants and contractors
• Ensures design quality and authority compliance

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, preferably recognised by the Board of Architects, Singapore
• Minimum 10 years of relevant architectural experience, preferred in transport and infrastructure projects
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices
• Conversant with local codes & regulations
• Competency in authority requirements and submission procedures
• Ability to lead a team
• Good leadership and communication skill
• Preferred registered as QP with BOA
