Job Description

The Product Manager - Paper will need to be a superb communicator to work with and influence with stakeholders across different seniorities, both internally and externally. You will need develop a compelling new product through your understanding of customer needs and market trends. You will also need to have good Product Management skills and you will be responsible for the end-to-end product cycle.You will be given a lot of autonomy and you will be responsible for coming up with the entire product roadmap and strategies for the product. You will need to be hands-on and independent in order to do whatever it takes to launch a successful, well-loved product including pricing and marketing strategies. You will be responsible for all core products within the company.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate must have the following:

• 3 or more years' of experience in the product management and prior experience in development in similar domains
• Experience in indirect businesses and distribution channels
• Ability to manage internal stakeholders across seniorities and functions
• Quantitative and analytical skills; make good data-driven decisions

Job summary

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for Funds Digital Platform targeted at Asset Manager and Distributor clients
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, including business, operations, and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of priorities and requirements
• Deliver Market Research Documentation and Product Requirement Documentation with prioritized features and value scoring
• Leads and manages the work of a team of BAs and engineers who are collectively developing market leading capabilities
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of business initiatives and collaboration on epics and user stories

Requirements

• > 10 years overall work experience with at least 5 years’ experience Asset & Wealth Management or Fund Services domain

- Responsible for managing pre-engineering, product design development of new products.

- Performs value analysis, value engineering and troubleshooting.

- Manage a team of Product Design engineers and responsible for products’ lifecycle.

- Guide team in performing data analysis, yield enhancement, product cost reduction and device reliability improvement.

- Develop market-specific connector products and optimizing product designs and yields.

Requirements:

Main Purpose of Job

To manage the overall process of inducting new Partners and their support staff in relation to the SJP systems and processes. You will support the Partnership to ensure that they are able to process new business efficiently and will identify any improvements that can be made to the process. Working in conjunction with the Partnership Development Manager’s you will also ensure the quality of documentation in relation to suitability letters and the completion of application forms are all completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities of the Job

1. Manage the onboarding of partners and supporting staff on all SJP systems and processes.
2. Drive internal management reporting that provide analysis to ensure quality submission of documents and efficient workflow are achieved.
3. Identify opportunities for process improvements
4. Drive changes and improvements in the client experience (from front to back) through various initiatives / projects.
5. Manage and assist implementation and subsequent usage of SJP’s internal platforms as well as change of process flow
6. Work alongside the Partnership Development Manager to ensure Partners understand the advice guidance process to advise their clients. You will need to train best practice around process and quality of advice documentation ensuring high standards are maintained.
7. Manage escalations and assist with issues from Partners and Advisers; provide resolution in a timely manner
8. Provide regular communication and sharing sessions to Partners regarding latest documentation, process flows and best practice updates
9. Actively share information with the team, ensuring team understanding is aligned with business priorities and opportunities

Requirements of the Job

Job Knowledge:

• Degree holder

• Relevant qualifications for the wealth management industry is desirable

• Proficiency in spoken and written English

• Experience in wealth management industry required

• Strong command in IT – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
