Principal Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Portfolio Manager to develop, implement and execute investment strategies.
• Manage live portfolio risk daily to ensure the portfolio operates within defined risk limits.
• Research new investment ideas, building investment thesis or models.
• Hands on trading and execution.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Bachelor or Master degree
• Experience with in a selected asset class, product, or region, demonstrating ability to develop, implement and execute investment strategies.
• Good communication skill to ensure efficient and smooth team collaboration

About the role

• Assist in identifying, developing and implementing short to long-term strategic initiatives for the Region APAC & MEA that will guide the company's future growth
• Conduct comprehensive market and industry research and analysis on development trends, and formulate strategy based on customer needs and the latest fintech applications
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on the performance, efficiency, customer behaviour and projects implementation, and propose customer experience optimization suggestions
• Work closely with various business units to understand issues, formulate and monitor the implementation of company-wide strategies and mechanisms
• Collect and organize work materials, and work on management analytical reports and presentation
• Assist in managing regular regional-level and management-level meetings ensuring effective communications throughout the organization

You are a qualified and experienced warehouse manager with a technical background. You will oversee our Salvage warehouse operations for machinery, tools and equipment. You have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of machinery, tools and equipment maintenance. Next to that you will also be responsible for the Salvage Yard Safety Management and supplier management.

Your responsibilities as warehouse manager

• Manage and supervise all activities within the warehouse for machinery, tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, and issuance of machinery tools and equipment.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery tools and equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Utilize inventory management software and tools for tracking and management.
• Analyse inventory data, identify trends, and generate reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and issue resolution.
• Monitor and control costs by analysing expenditure and finding cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on salvage yard safety practices.
• Manage the internal hiring process for equipment within the organization.
• Coordinate equipment requests and ensure proper allocation.

Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as a warehouse manager if you have:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse management, with a focus on machinery tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures, inventory management software and tools.
• Proficiency in mechanical engineering.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for machinery, tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of diving will be an added advantage.

Purpose of the job

To manage the day-to-day administration of a varied portfolio of more complex trust structures and to maintain a wide and detailed knowledge and understanding of trust administration generally, to include money laundering, compliance and relevant legislation. This position requires the post holder to work autonomously, whenever necessary, with the ability to support the team and senior employees to ensure workload is completed accurately, effectively and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

• To deal with the day-to-day administration of a varied and complex portfolio of trust and company structures, and to maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of company and trust administration generally, to include money laundering, compliance and relevant legislation.
• Work closely with Head of Trust Services and Business Development Director with the on-boarding of new business within the Group.
• To ensure tasks are completed to the highest possible standards, within the agreed timescales and that the objectives of the Group are fulfilled.
• To nurture, develop and grow the trust officers and senior trust officers in the team
• To consider the views, development and strengths of all team members prior to decision-making.
• To develop close working relationships with relevant clients and contacts and to strengthen key relationships through regular contact.  To seek to provide innovative and practical answers to client queries, being alert to both commercial concerns and technical accuracy. To ensure absolute compliance with KYC procedures in order to maintain knowledge of the client business.
• To ensure billing and debt collection is carried out effectively and in a timely manner. 
• To be alert to new business opportunities and to maintain a broad general knowledge of issues affecting the offshore industry, and be able to apply this knowledge in developing new and existing business.
• To attend marketing events and seminars organised by intermediaries, whenever appropriate and possible.
• To support Ocorian’s strategy, demonstrating the ability to generate innovative operational ideas and constructively challenge the status quo.
• And any other such duties that might be reasonably required for this role.
