Campaigns Manager (Full-time)

ZWSG is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our campaigns arm to conceptualise, plan and execute impactful campaigns as part of Zero Waste SG’s strategic direction to move our nation closer to circularity and zero waste. Our campaigns see us partnering government agencies, the media, companies, and other groups on nation-wide campaigns and other fund-raising activities.

In addition, you may be asked to take on other tasks that are required in a charity, as part of ZWSG’s advocacy role.

Roles and responsibilities

Campaigns/Projects Management

• Conceptualise, plan and implement Zero Waste SG campaigns/ programmes/ projects e.g.

- Public education campaigns

- Other bilateral collaborations with corporates/ supporters/ volunteers/ donors

- Direct outreach (conducting talks, workshops, engagements)

• Coordinate multiple campaign activities within a given period of time, in accordance to campaign deliverables
• Formulate reports based on outcomes of the campaigns
• Work closely with colleagues and their strengths to ensure campaign success and impact

Stakeholder management

• Liaise with various stakeholders as part of ZWSG’s Campaigns
• Build and nurture partnerships (internal and external) to ensure sustainability of programmes/ campaigns/fundraisers
• Run large-audience talks and public roadshows

Content Creation

• Draft and edit campaign collaterals, media releases and social media content
• Manage the social media calendar for each campaign
• Formulate, research and design narratives to bring across key messages of the campaign tasked

These roles and responsibilities should foremost be grounded by a sound understanding of environmental issues especially in ZWSG’s mission and focus areas.

Requirements

• Based in Singapore (work from home unless you are involved in an in-person event)
• Passionate and interested in environmental sustainability issues and a self-starter who keeps up with current developments in this area
• Proven track record in managing long-term projects/ campaigns/ programmes, especially in the social sector
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills required.
• Comfortable with public speaking and presentations
• Ability to work independently and in a team, as well as toggle between both
• Strong time management skills and able to manage multiple duties while adapting in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Events management, Communications, or related field.

· Fully responsible for day to day operation of building / condominium

· Supervise and coordinate all maintain and administrate staff assigned to the building/ condominium

Job Responsibilities

• Plan technical deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project’s requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
• Plan & collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.
• Plan, monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery.
• Provide status update related to technical delivery to Project Manager (PM)/ Program Manager.
• Partner with System Analysts, Functional Business Analysts and SME’s to collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements.
• Provide Systems input to specification phase (effort estimates, high level delivery plan) based on impact assessment etc.
• Partner with Development Manager in managing application teams to build the enhancements.
• Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results.
• Prepare and manage technical implementation plan across application teams - coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post implementation support.
• Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

• 10 - 15 years of experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and/or platform knowledge in Open Systems.
• Strong technical knowledge in Spring boot, Microservices, DevOps Systems.
• Good business domain knowledge in Retail and Corporate Loans Origination systems, Business or Credit rules management is a plus.
• Good knowledge in financial services policies, procedures, products and industry practices preferred.
• Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation.
• Experience in service-oriented technologies.
• Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
• Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience (in aggregate no less than 8 years).
• Good understanding and experience in software development cycle (Waterfall/Agile best practices).
• Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
• Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor management skills.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or similar domain.
• Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Adept at translating business strategy into communications campaigns that are relevant, relatable, and effective.

• Responsible for External Communications, experience in integrating External, Executive, and Internal Communications is important, along with the ability to partner with the Marketing team to integrate campaigns and to cross-pollinate.

• Should understand how to build PESO campaigns, as well as how to build and execute on earned KOL strategies.

• Reporting directly to the Senior Director for Strategic Communications, the Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication strategies to drive organisation objectives and outcomes via Strategic Communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in internal communications and some experience in external & executive communications.

• Be an excellent writer and builder of relationships, he or she has strong influencing, critical thinking, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and channels.

• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies that drive engagement and support business objectives.

• Self-starter who possesses strong planning and organizational skills, very resourceful

• Able to produce clear, factual and relevant information in written Business and marketing acumen and numerically inclined.

• Good project and budget management skills
