Job Responsibilities

The Report Content and Print Operations Manager role is a permanent position responsible for the administration of the Output Management systems and management of UOB’s printing/enveloping vendor. The role is under the prerogative of Group Service Operations belonging to Group Infrastructure and Platform Services under Technology and Operations. Its primary responsibilities include the following:

Core Responsibilities

• Perform administration functions on the different Output Management systems namely Report2Web (R2W) and Remote Print Manager(RPM) systems.
• Oversees the daily operational procedure for the printing/enveloping vendor.
• Liaise and coordinate Output Management requirements to the different groups and users subscribed to the Output Management systems and printing/enveloping vendor.
• Perform 24x7 on-call support for trouble shooting and problem determination on Output related incidents and problems pertaining (but not limited) to administration and support.
• Identify, analyse, and recommend methods of problem resolution for the department and develop documentations for staff and management reference.
• Perform management of Output Management’s vendors setting standards and streamlining processes to ensure smooth report publishing and print operations.
• Participate in audit and compliance review involving Output Management systems and print operations.
• Perform outsourcing review and due diligence on new and/or existing printing/enveloping vendors to ensure vendor’s solvency and soundness.

Automation, Program Development, and Infrastructure Support

• Assess departmental automation needs and identify solutions to eliminate repetitive tasks and manual interventions.
• Develop and maintain existing scripts and programs to automate Output Management operational processes.
• Perform technical evaluation and analysis of existing and new systems and assess their potentials for automation/implementation.
• Continually improve the end to end infrastructure design and flow of the R2W system and printing/enveloping process by working with vendor, technical support and operation teams (internal and external)

Project Management

• Perform project management role on Output Management driven projects and initiatives.
• Participate in projects and initiatives requiring/involving Output Management support.

Job Requirements

• At least 10 years experience preferably working in a bank Data Centre Operations environment in the area of Output Report Distribution and Print Operations.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of network, database, and Windows platforms necessary in troubleshooting issues related to Output Management systems.
• Competent in resolving technical and access related issues in network, database and Windows environments.
• Knowledgeable in Windows infrastructure and other technologies like Active Directory (AD), Domain Name Servers (DNS), MS Clustering, MS SQL.
• Knowledgeable in Tomcat and Internet Information Services (IIS) application and web server components.
• Knowledgeable in Windows programming/scripting, Visual Basic, and Python.
• Knowledgeable in the Microsoft suite of products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Knowledge in R2W and RPM systems is a big advantage.
• Knowledge in statements printing and enveloping operations is a big advantage
• Knowledge in Windows infrastructure and other technologies like Network Load Balancer and Virtual Machine (VM) is an advantage.
• Knowledge in C#, Power Shell, Unix scripting, and Java programming is an advantage.
• Knowledge in Unix and AS400 is an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES AND BUSIENSS DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTABILITY

￭ In charge of sales performance and budget with full P&L responsibility of the channel.
￭ Develop and implement retail strategies, define objectives and action plans to achieve sales targets.
￭ Analyze consumer trends and channels to identify and maximize market opportunities. Provide market insights and recommendations to management to elevate business performance in the region.
￭ Explore new business opportunities and develop business cases for expansion plans to strengthen retail proximity.
￭ Collaborate with the Finance department to develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control measures are in place to meet financial targets.
￭ Provide sales analysis, reports and propose relevant business plans for management review.

RETAIL OPERATIONS AND CROSS-FUNCTION COLLABORATION

￭ Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience, including visual merchandising, store layout, customer service standards, loyalty programs and compliance to ensure company's standards and KPIs are achieved.
￭ Monitor retail performance and launch focused action plans with clearly articulated objectives to improve results.
￭ Regular review workflow and processes to optimize efficiency and drive for operational excellence.
￭ Provide insights and recommendations on product offerings, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and maintain a competitive edge.
￭ Collaborate with Marketing team by providing market insights so to define the most relevant promotional activities to accelerate sales performance and customer experience.
￭ Work with Demand Planner and Supply Chain team to perform effective stock control to maximize sales performance. Oversee sales & inventory analysis, operating cost, develop sales and performance reports for management review and to take appropriate actions.
￭ Work with HR Department to review and fine-tune sales incentive program on regular basis so to drive staff & sales performance and efficiency.
￭ Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and IT to ensure alignment and coordination of activities including but not limited to new shop opening and renovation projects.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT

￭ Lead and coach retail team. Supervise a team of shop management and develop the team by providing guidance & support through timely feedback. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture and environment.

￭ Monitor and analyze the objectives setting to evaluate the performance of shops and identify areas for improvement. Develop action plans to address any performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
￭ Work with Training Manager to define training needs and develop talents with necessary skills so to drive excellence in customer service & sales performance.
￭ Collaborate with HR department on team development, strength talent pipeline and people development to solidify the team structure and capability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Business Studies, Fashion, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in retail industry,
• Strong financial acumen, track record in managing a retail organization.
• Strong leadership skills with exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, business acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient Mandarin to speak to Mandarin speaking customers and English is essential.
• Shop visit and business travel is required.

Review electrical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.

Recommend effective solutions specified particular weight related to employment status of employees.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.

Plan and prepare work and equipment usage schedule

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate M&E projects to ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and of highest quality
• Work closely with client, suppliers, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities in projects managed
• Ensure timely submissions & compliance to regulatory requirements
• Follow through on internal processes to ensure smooth delivery to customers
• Manage project budget and able to submit timely purchase request for relevant materials & manpower throughout project cycle
• Oversee drawing management and control of technical and construction matters
• Ensure work quality and safety regulation are fully compiled

Requirements

• ITE/Diploma/Degree in Building Services/ Mechanical/ Electrical related field
• Must possess PM roles experience (experience in LIVE DC will be added advantage)
• Must be well versus in M&E system & AutoCAD knowledge
• Able to produce T&C report, SAT report and Test Script based on project/site requirement
• Able to communicate well with both internal & external customers
• Able to lead the engineers/site supervisors to execute the project
• To ensure project schedule/timeline to complete the project on time
• Able to produce project progress report to show to the customer based on weekly basis
• Attend weekly meeting with the customer with updated project progress report that have been produced
• Prefer to have experience for IST procedures
