KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Software Engineer, you are accountable for:

• Be part of the Security Development team to build innovative Security solutions for Homeland Security, Smart Cities and Critical Infrastructures.
• Be responsible for the technical/solution designs, code development, and component test execution to demonstrate alignment to the product/functional specification of the solution.
• Develop and demonstrate a broad set of technology skills in web application technologies, micro service design patterns, Open Source libraries and frameworks, and technology architecture concepts.
• Collaborate with product/solution architects to create, implement and maintain the product/solution development roadmap.
• Be the main contact point to represent the team, join agile ceremonies and communicate effectively with other development teams and product management team.
• Ensure all work adheres to Thales software development methodologies and processes
• Thoroughly document design to ensure the usability, supportability and maintainability of the developed
• Perform sub-system installation, configuration and integration to support Proof-Of-Concept (POC)/demo.

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

Experience required:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience of full web application development lifecycle of scalable micro-services-based architectures; including tools, best practices, continuous deployment, dependency/complexity management, scale/performance tuning, monitoring, resiliency, etc.
• Experience in SCRUM/Agile software development methodologies
• Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns is good-to-have

Programming languages/frameworks/Technologies:

• Proficiency in Go Language, various Go frameworks and tools
• Proficiency in building responsive layouts with CSS and HTML5
• Proficiency in building complex Angular applications with Typescript
• Experience with Android (Kotlin)
• Familiar with database technologies such as Postgresql and ClickHouse
• Familiar with MQ and Apache Kafka
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Strong knowledge in version control using GIT
• Maintain the CI/CD pipeline and familiar with Kubernetes. Knowledge about Ansible is good-to-have.
• Knowledge about Mapbox SDK (Android or iOS) is good-to-have.

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to design and implement electrical systems. To do well in this role you should be a professional engineer and have extensive experience as an electrical engineer.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
• Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction,maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Supervising or training project team members.
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Maintaining electrical equipment.
• Working with a variety of technicians.

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

• Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.
• Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of project
• Liaise with consultants and /or sub-contractors on the project matters
• Attend meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-cons on the project related matters
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard
• Update the project quality plan as and when appropriate
• Assist Project Manager on the tasks assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Seior Executive Specialized in Engineering- Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Job Description:

. Overseeing the daily site activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work programmes.

· Coordinate with different departments concerning the site work activities.

· Work closely with sub-cons, highlight any work-related matters for team's discussion and solutions.

· Supervise works on-site for proper work execution and safety.

· Handle any engineering/technical issues.

· Prepare daily progress reporting and maintain records that are up to date.

Requirement:

· Minimum a Diploma / Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision under tight schedule.

· Meticulous and good communication.
