Lothrop Consulting is a new startup in Singapore with its' main branch operating in London for over 7years. We specialize in multiple M&A and strategy projects including CDD, VDD, value creation planning, acquisition target identification, business plan and financial model review, directly sourced and in conjunction with leading strategy consulting firms.

We are now looking for an experienced Director to spearhead our operations and this position is mainly responsible for our in-house formulated products and services portfolio, and business development in the Asian region, ultimately, generating new sales revenue.

You are responsible for

• Business operations in Singapore and the Asian region
• Identifying and develop new partners while building on existing relationships to support the company’s strategy within Singapore and the Asian region
• Maintaining profitable growth within the partner portfolio, developing partner sales and growing revenue
• Presenting and creating awareness of the company’s products and services portfolio
• Exploring opportunities for greater market penetration into other parts of client’s business groups, group companies and or subsidiaries
• Creating and maintaining a pipeline report, growth strategy engagements, and creating forecasts on a timely manner
• Lead the commercial sales process for any requests for business proposals and agreements

The requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, or Finance
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in commercial due diligence or fintech industry
• Result driven and customer orientated, demonstrate “Can do” attitude in complex business problems

Responsibilities

1.Daily Operations Management: Comprehensively oversee the restaurant's daily operations, encompassing staff scheduling, timekeeping, training, and performance evaluations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

2. Customer Service Supervision: Monitor and enhance the quality of customer service, promptly addressing customer complaints, and striving for the utmost customer satisfaction.

3. Food Quality Control: Collaborate intimately with the culinary team to supervise the food preparation process, guaranteeing that food quality adheres to restaurant standards.

4. Cost Control Efficiently manage restaurant costs, including ingredient procurement, inventory control, and energy usage, conducting regular profit assessments and proposing enhancement strategies.Identify ways to cut costs, eliminate inventory shrinkage, and reduce food spoilage.

5.Profit Analysis:Develop realistic budgets with the team, using historical data to forecast future financial plans. Analyze financial and consumer data reports

6.Event Planning & Execution: Plan and implement promotional events, festivals, and celebrations, elevating the restaurant's brand image and market presence.

Requirements

1. Relevant academic qualifications, with majors in Restaurant Management, Hotel Management, or related fields being preferred.

2. Possess a management experience in restaurants or related industries, with a familiarity of restaurant operational procedures.

3. Demonstrate excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.

Overview

The Project Manager, Regulatory Affairs, plays a pivotal role in driving APACMed's Regulatory Affairs (RA) agenda across the Asia-Pacific region. The position involves managing complex RA initiatives, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects aligned with the association’s strategic goals. This role requires a proactive mindset, and the ability to navigate and influence policies that enhance patient access to innovative medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Committee Agenda and Leadership:

• Lead the development and execution of the RA Committee's agenda, ensuring alignment with APACMed’s broader strategic priorities.
• Spearhead workstreams and initiatives within the RA Committee’s purview, from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with senior members to define project objectives and craft actionable plans to deliver measurable outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, policymakers, healthcare providers, and industry leaders, to advance committee goals.
• Serve as a primary liaison between APACMed members and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Policy Advocacy and Regulatory Harmonization:

• Lead the drafting of position papers, advocacy materials, and white papers to address regulatory gaps and opportunities.
• Represent APACMed in regulatory discussions to advocate for harmonized, patient-focused regulatory practices across the region.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple RA initiatives simultaneously, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met with precision.
• Oversee project budgets, milestones, and stakeholder expectations to drive successful outcomes.
• Provide operational support for key APACMed regulatory initiatives, including SaMD, e-labeling, and post-market surveillance.

Event Planning and Coordination:

• Organize and execute RA-focused workshops, roundtables, and forums, managing all aspects of event logistics, speaker engagement, and post-event documentation.
• Develop summary reports and insights from events to share with stakeholders and members.

Regulatory Intelligence and Analysis:

• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments across APAC markets, compiling insights to inform strategic priorities.
• Provide actionable recommendations to the RA Committee and APACMed leadership based on trends and emerging issues.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:

Advanced degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, Public Health, Health Policy, or a related medical/scientific discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs, policy advocacy, healthcare strategy, or a related field, with a preference for regional roles in the MedTech or broader healthcare industry.
• Candidates with regulatory affairs experience or a background in medical sciences/consultancy are encouraged to apply.
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.

Skills and Competencies:
