• Documentation and Communication: Issue notices, instructions, software documents, and contract-related materials as needed.
• Factory Support: Assist factory testing staff with job software design and technical troubleshooting during system testing.
• Design Optimisation: Ensure that software designs are cost-effective and fully comply with client specifications and project timelines.
• Error Investigation: Participate in investigating software errors and develop corrective and preventive measures. Collaborate with the Electrical Department to address any discrepancies between software and hardware designs and resolve issues before shipping the system to the site.
• Field Support: Assist system installation staff during on-site installations. Troubleshoot problems, and modify software as necessary to meet client requirements.

Requirements

• A diploma (at least 3 years) or degree in Electrical Engineering
• Familiar with programming languages such as C, C++, etc
• Familiar with schematic or single-line designs/drawings
• Able to work independently and as a team

Job Description

• Review project specifications and technical clarifications
• Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies
• Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
• Supervise the M&E works and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth work progress
• Ensure all M&E works are compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations
• Attend all the meeting as and when required
• Temporary M&E works (eg: site office, trial holes, temp power supply etc)
• Any other duties assigned by the Management

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years experience in Construction Industry
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• AutoCAD & Revit Certificate

• Singapore Based (City Hall, may need work at site)
• 5 Days A Week (Monday – Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday may need work half day if work required (can claim OT)

Roles & Responsibilities

• To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site are in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP to minimise delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
• Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
• Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submission for Conquers, RI, TOP etc.
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Understanding of critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
• Able to provide guidance to new staff / junior staff.
