Our Recommendation Architecture Team is responsible for building up and optimizing the architecture for our recommendation system to provide the most stable and best experience for our TikTok users.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain high performance online services for recommendation system

- Build extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines for candidates generation, profile generation, training examples generation, realtime online training, etc

- Build globalized large-scale recommendation system

- Design and develop high performance computing frameworks and storage systems

- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs

- Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis

- Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures

- Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, or related fields,

- Experience building scalable system;

- Experience programming in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java or Golang;

- Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive;

- Experience in at least one area of the following areas: personalized recommendations, search engine, machine learning, distributed storage system, big data frameworks is a plus.

- At least 3 years of relevant experience

Job Descriptions

1. Plan, execute and supervise all M&E related facilities maintenance work service. Lead a team of technical officers and technicians for the facilities management activities. Advise and lead the technical (M&E) investigations for rectification works with the manager.
2. Investigate, analyse and determine root cause and report any M&E breakdown and fault effectively.
3. Together with Manager to manage M&E works and services for effective and efficient M&E facilities performance.
4. Coordinate and supervise the M&E installation and maintenance work. Planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance works.
5. Carrying out regular inspection and provide recommendation for improvement or rectification work if needed. Conducting regular inspection to ensure all maintenance programme are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
6. Perform troubleshooting and analyse faults and provide recommendation for sustainable and cost- effective solutions.
7. Operate and control automated M&E systems, conduct testing & commissioning.
8. Working closely with the client, sub-contractors, and the project team to resolve any technical issues. Attend M&E related meetings and involve in the preparation of related reports.
9. Monitor work progress, drawings and other relevant documents related to M&E works. Involve in quotation and fault reports.
10. Assist in planning, controlling, and coordinating of mechanical, electrical, and building works. Schedule, monitor and supervise the progress of works. Prepare and following up closely on the enquiries and quotations.
11. Build and maintain good client relationships and uphold high quality standards.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
2. M&E Facilities Management or related M&E fields or FM operations background with at least 3 years of Singapore relevant experience will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform duty and/or shift duty roster to manage Data Centre operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, project rollout, and facilities related matters. This includes maintain and repair of infrastructure systems and critical facilities equipment.
2. Perform Data Centre monitoring and maintenance on infrastructure systems, critical facilities, and associated equipment. This includes raised floor environment, mechanical, electrical, emergency generators, fire/life safety systems and associated equipment.
3. Perform preventive and corrective support to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on Data Centre infrastructure systems, critical facilities equipment and/or services.
4. Ensure all subcontractors deliver a quality and competent service and all contractual obligations are met.
5. Perform Data Centre and critical facilities work on environmental and management programs.
6. Perform equipment functionality test and data analysis.
7. Perform assets management duty. This includes maintaining of inventory, change and control programs, and purchase of parts and supplies.
8. Promptly respond and attend to incident and/or emergency situations. This includes fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.
9. Be the point of contact during significant events/incidents or multi-discipline technical escalations occurring within the specified sites.
10. Provide support, coordinate, and supervise Data Centre maintenance efforts. This includes coordination with internal and/or external parties, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
11. Provide standby support upon activation for shift duty stand-in and/or other coverage.
12. Conduct routine, sanity check and on-going assessment of Data Centre infrastructure systems and critical facilities operations.
13. Comprehend, analyse, interpret documentation. This include maintaining and updating of as-built drawings and schematic diagram.
14. Promote and maintaining the core Values of Engie.
15. Ensure professional image of Engie presented to clients and visitors at all times.
16. Comply and adhere to all regulated protocol and/or Company’s rules and regulation.
17. Perform other duties at time assigned by line managers.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Equivalent experience.
2. Must be able to demonstrate a career showing continuous personal development with at least two years’ experience in Datacentre or 24/7 critical environment management.
3. Must be a certified Data Centre Professional or equivalent experience.
4. Good experience in 24/7 Datacentre and/or maintaining critical environments.
5. Able to perform standby or coverage of shift duty or on weekends/public holidays.
6. Preferably understand all the associated safety code related requirements relative to providing the service.
7. Experience with Health & Safety, Risk Assessments and Control Measures.
8. Detailed understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a Datacentre and commercial environment, including Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, UPS systems, Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, ACMV, chilled water systems, Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression systems (pre-action sprinklers).
9. Experience in operations management including team management and work scheduling.
10. Experience in managing escalation and emergency issues.
11. Experience in vendor management, ability to manage and progress monitoring to ensure objectives are achieve for outsourced support and projects.

Assistant Engineer (Project Management )

Summary:

• Equipment set up for various systems, conduct testing & commissioning

• Follow up with clients in a timely manner

• Assist sales team with site survey & system design

• Provide support and manage project

• Perform troubleshooting & repair / replace faulty parts

• Provide onsite support to diagnose and rectify technical issue

Duties/Responsibilities

• Design, develop and generate electrical single-line diagrams (SLD) schematics, control logics, general arrangement (GA) diagrams using industry-standard software and tools.
• Select appropriate electrical components to ensure design optimization.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications, bills of materials, etc.
• Ensure that designs comply with relevant safety and industry regulations and international standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, digitalization, project, production teams to ensure successful project execution within cost budget.
• Attend meetings with project team to understand clients requirements during project execution
• Participate in pre-sales activities to generate bill of material and designs for the purpose of quotation generation
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to electrical, control and mechanical design, both independently and as part of a team, during design, production, testing and commissioning processes.
• Assist production and site teams on trouble-shooting, testing and commissioning, when needed
• Manage a team of electrical and control engineers

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficiency in electrical design and principle.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components and their applications.
• Proficiency in electrical design software

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical design engineering, preferably with low voltage and control panels application.
• Experience at re-engineering existing products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in low voltage switchboards design or manufacturing
