Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting Leadership:

• Act as a senior individual contributor, leading and supporting critical day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and review monthly accounts, journal entries, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee month-end, half-year, and year-end close processes, including Financial Statements and General Ledger account reconciliations (e.g.,
• Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Accruals, Cash, and intercompany transactions).

2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and submit quarterly reporting packs, budget plans, and presentations with variance analysis.
• Develop and manage cash flow projections, fixed deposits, and bank account administration.
• Coordinate and submit government financial statistical surveys/data and MAS regulatory returns/surveys.

3. Regulatory Compliance and Taxation:

• Ensure compliance with Capital Markets Services (CMS) license requirements and regulatory filings.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and corporate tax documentation in adherence to Singapore’s tax regulations.
• Handle transfer pricing arrangements to ensure regulatory compliance.

4. Audit and External Coordination:

• Manage relationships with external parties, including internal and external auditors, corporate secretarial agents, and tax consultants.
• Lead the annual audit process, including preparation of audited financial statements and required schedules.

5. Process Optimization and Strategic Finance:

• Work with business and IT teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and quality of financial operations.
• Serve as part of the Finance leadership team, contributing strategic insights to the short- and long-term direction of the Finance function.

6. Operational Oversight:

• Manage or oversee the preparation and review of payments, billings (including inter-company activities), and staff claims.
• Maintain company books and financial records in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting or financial experience.
• At least 5 years in a management or senior single contributor role within a brokerage, wealth management, or similar buy-side environment.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficient in Singapore’s regulatory frameworks, corporate taxation, financia lreporting standards (SFRS), and GST compliance.

Primary Function of Position

The Commercial Distribution Manager for ASEAN is responsible for establishing, developing and supporting the assigned Distributor. This involves becoming an expert in ISI commercial operations, sales processes, use of surgical robotics and building high-performing teams that establish mutually beneficial distributor relationships. • Initiate and support investigations and improvement projects (quality, efficiency), based on the above data analysis, involving cross-functional teams.
• Provide all necessary information to perform the validation documentation, align with other process experts (i.e., CDMOs / CLOs) to organize, review and approve the study plans and samples management. Technical Manager is in lead for process qualification and validation. Supports other experts to assess the need to plan validations / re-validations / verifications, consulting approving and reviewing the process validation master plan, together with the Validation Lead or Validation Experts from the CMO. Compiles and approves both qualification / validation Protocols and Report

Requirements

• BSc. In Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent scientific degree. Desirable MSc. or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5-8 years experience in pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing process development and lifecycle management as Production Manager, Process Development Expert, or comparable
• Comprehensive know how in pharmaceutical or chemical technologies such as API, Drug Product formulation, fill and finish (i.e., solutions, emulsions, and suspensions)
• Project Management and team leadership experience
• Sound experience of data handling and applied statistics is a must.
• Fundamental understanding of international regulatory cGxP requirements across multiple health authorities is a plus.
• Fundamental understanding of standard pharmaceutical analytical testing and methods development.
• 5S / 6S Lean Six Sigma Certification
• 1 year contract with full benefits (21 days annual leave, medical + completion bonus), MNC, high chance of conversion to perm.
