PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Procurement Manager is responsible in overseeing and managing sourcing capabilities and procurement operation. He/she is responsible for strategy and negotiating with vendors in terms of price, delivery and service while ensuring highest commitment to the company by satisfying the customer needs with quality work and efficiency by improving the processes, build effective team and manage ambiguity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Source and procure items required.
2. Work and coordinate closely with customers, vendors, PM, QS and other related functions in sourcing/procuring required items
3. Do competitive Bidding when required for new purchases to ensure cost competitiveness without sacrificing quality
4. Maintain and monitor purchase orders and ship items according to the required dates
5. Arrange and coordinate closely the shipment request with the Logistic team/appointed forwarders
6. Build and establish rapport with Suppliers for service & quality improvement
7. Attend, liaise and close any quality related issues with the vendors and customers
8. Demonstrate leadership and provide training/coaching to Procurement executive to ensure individual's empowerment are achieved
9. Create standard work process related to job function to ensure sustainability and efficiency
10. Develop others through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments
11. Conduct Employee performance review and feedback
12. Other ad-hoc jobs related to sourcing & procurement.
13. Ensure KPI target is achieved.
14. Adheres company’s guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.
15. Generate KPI and conduct regular perforance review with the team

Oversee, guide and prepare up to date financial reports (e.g. P&L, B/S, AR & AP and other financial schedules and analysis)
· Able to summarize current financial status.
· Monthly Accounts closing
· Manage Cash Flow preparation and annual budget and forecast.
· Support payroll & submission of CPF.
· Submission of Quarterly GST.
· Support on regulatory compliance. Annual Filing with ACRA and IRAS.
· Able to follow up with External Auditors to Generate Audited Report or Compilation Report whichever is applicable.
· Prepare & Submission forms, monitor and liaise with Banks Daily For Financing/ Discounting Applications.
· To liaise with Banks on payment instructions.
· Co-ordinate with internal departments and external parties such as forwarders/suppliers (both international & local) if need to.
· Reporting To Snr Manager, Group Accounts and/or Directors on Daily Operations.
· Able to support other Ad hoc Business Activities assigned.

Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree or other professional certificate in Finance or Accounting.
· At least 1 to 2 years of knowledge and experience in handling a full set of company financial accounts.
· Awareness of international trading and shipping terms will be an added advantage. Knowledge of SAP business 1 and excel functions will be an added advantage.
· Aptitude for numbers, quantitative and analytical skills
· General knowledge and experience of GST submission and Company Tax.

Finance & Admin

• Maintain full sets of financial reports
• Ensure preparation of timely and accurate management accounts
• Preparation of payments for approval
• Quarterly submission of GST
• Assist in statutory audit & corporate tax
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations and timelines
• Prepare monthly payroll, CPF submission & yearly IR8A
• Handle work pass administration and other HR matters
• Other office adhoc matters

Requirements:

• Finance / Accountancy Degree or other professional Accountancy qualification.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in handling full Spectrum of Finance and Accounting function
• Experienced in handling external auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities
• Meticulous, detailed & maintain high confidentiality
• Committed and able to work independently without supervision
• Proactive attitude, problem solver
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (BC) / Info-tech preferred, though not a pre-requisite
