- Handle, cut ,dump and pack bags weighing as much as 25kg into blenders /mixers or bags as many 8MT per shift.

- Handle drums and related equipment.

- Utilize weighing scales and floor scales to properly weigh the required material.

- Document the material / lot number.

- Operate forklift , hand pallet jacks and hand trucks.

- Print and label packaging

- Fabricate boxes / supersack for packaging of finished products.

- Assist in cleaning other areas within the department.

3) Assist with break bulk laytime calculation and work with owners to get the best realization of any demurrage and detention that we may have incurred

4) Business development for fertilizer desk focusing on new markets , day to day interaction with customers

5) Travel required to interact and key progress with the customers

6) Incharge of making Costing sheets other relevant reports to enhance the business .

7) Support with any other adhoc costing related or business development work for the Global Fertilizer Desk

Job Requirements

- Fluent in English but any other additional languages like mandarin / french is preferred

- Bachelors Degree with minimum 3 yrs of experience in related industry

- Strong operational experience

- Knowledge of Supply & Demand factors, pricing trends and regulations affecting fertilizer trade.

- Candidate must be a self-starter and motivated

- Possess Eye for details, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment and possesses stong analytical skills .

Key Job responsibilities

- Performs machine & process setup

- Perform Troubleshooting and maintenance of wire bonder and die attach machines

- Maintain a good machine Uptime

- Ensure the quality product is manufactured on schedule within the customer’s requirement

- Work with Cross functional Departments to resolve safety, quality and productivity related issue and improvement.

- Manage the logistic for parts so as to sustain production line.

- Support any ad-hoc duties.

Required Experience :

- Processed basic technical knowledge in machine repair and troubleshooting.

- Minimum 2 year experience in mass production / engineering environment

- Preferably with 2 year hand on experience in repair and troubleshooting of following machines :

Esec Die Attach/wire bonder

ASM Die Attach/wire bonder

DISCO Wafer Saw

Qualification

- Diploma / Nitec/ ITE in mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Job Summary

This is an entry level manufacturing position. As a Manufacturing Support 1, you will be working in a team to ensure that the manufacturing line are up and running especially for debagging and packaging process.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Handle, cut ,dump and pack bags weighing as much as 25kg into blenders /mixers or bags as many 8MT per shift.

- Handle drums and related equipment.

- Utilize weighing scales and floor scales to properly weigh the required material.

- Document the material / lot number.

- Operate forklift , hand pallet jacks and hand trucks.

- Print and label packaging

- Fabricate boxes / supersack for packaging of finished products.

- Assist in cleaning other areas within the department.

- Complete any other assignment given by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Forklift License is at advantage but not necessary

• Able to read, speak and understand basic English for handling English speaking people

• Strong Communication Skills

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy or bulky items

• Ability to perform duties under specific time requirements

• Ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities

• Able to work rotating shift, overtime or weekend (if required )as assigned
