Our client a leading marine fuel logistics company supply and market bunkers to all types of vessels is hiring a Level 1 - IT Support Officer

IT Support Officer

Provide a professional, expert support and administration of the Microsoft 365 cloud environment with a secure, reliable infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hand on experience as Global Admin for M365 or experience in the following modules such as user administration, Intune management and security management is required
• More than 2 years of experience work as L1 support in mid to large enterprise with headcount more than 100
• Strong customer service and communication skill with knowledge of know-how to translate technical issue effectively to the users
• Strong problem-solving skills for endpoint devices (Windows OS, Android and IOS) and troubleshooting network related issue
• Ability to work independently and can contribute as a team
• Firewall knowledge is not mandatory, but good to have

Job responsibilities:

• Independently research, design, develop, and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions for the company
• Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance
• Monitor system health and regularly review, analyze, and test systems for performance
• Perform annual hardware refresh for endpoint devices and network equipment
• Provide regular update, backups, and restores as needed
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize functionality and user experience
• Provide onboarding and offboarding for new hire/leaver
• Documenting system configuration, process and IT user guide
• Provide top-tier support, coordinating with various teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues onsite and offsite (onboard the vessels)
• Opportunity to travel to other countries to provide IT support for the vessel only if vendor unable to resolve the issue
• Role as an IT procurement officer and work closely with vendor and purchasing team
• Monitor and manage the billings and subscriptions for SAAS and M365
• Manage IT hardware and software inventory
• Conduct daily IT operation daily checklist, monthly checklist and annual checklist.

• Work Location - Northeast KIM CHUAN. TAI Seng MRT
• 5 days' work week from 9am - 6pm
• Basic salary ranging from $2,500 - $4,000 with AWS and Variable Bonus for candidates

HIRING: TEMPORARY ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

Scope of Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Installation / configuration of OS, Message Clients for desktop PC / notebook.
• Installation / configuration of accessories, peripherals and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop incidents.
• Manage disk and folder sharing, and permission settings on desktops.
• Handle printer problems at users’ desktops.
• Assist users in accessing applications.
• Perform workstation Operating System patching and Anti-virus patching for workstations which could not be patched via server push-down.
• Assist in providing technical information and knowledge.
• Procurement of IT desktop/laptop equipment and update of Assets.
• Manage Delivery/shifting /Install Printers to locations.
• Any adhoc duties assigned by Superior from time to time.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools installation & troubleshooting and Printer support
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Field experience supporting a variety of technologies and services
• Advance technical abilities including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows
• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 7 & 10), Microsoft Office & Office 365 applications, PC/Laptop hardware, PC/Laptop peripherals, including printers and mobile devices
• Ability to manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-profile situations while maintaining professionalism under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on technical support to resolve IT-related issues efficiently.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to optimize IT performance.
• Track, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents to ensure timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with client IT teams for smooth deployment and integration of systems.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec, Diploma, or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL Foundation).
• Knowledge of remote desktop tools and troubleshooting end-user systems.
• Familiarity with IT incident tracking and escalation processes.Strong customer experience mindset with excellent listening, understanding, and response skills.
• Minimum 1 year in IT support roles, preferably in a system integrator environment.
• Fresh graduates (Higher Nitec/Diploma) with a proactive attitude are encouraged to apply.
