Job Description:

1. Provide on-going application support and be involved in various stages of the SDLC with lead project teams.

2. Perform user requirement analysis for enhancements to existing systems.

3. Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve business problems.

4. Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation.

5. Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport.

6. Liaise closely with project teams on test case reviews, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.

7. Support the team in defining change requirements, tracking and documentation.

8. Provide application maintenance support (certain activities may occur after office hours).

9. Liaise closely with interfacing systems users and support teams on routine support issues or enhancements.

10. Assist team in Change Approval Board and Pre-commissioning preparations.

11. Front users in problem investigations and resolutions.

12. Review Vendor SLA reports.

13. Create/Update SOPs.

14. Support transition phases from project to operations.

Requirements / Qualifications:

1. Successful track record in service management, user and vendor management (good to have).

2. Experience in MS Windows environment & application support.

3. Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.

4. Experience in healthcare industry is an added advantage.

5. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

6. Experience in SAP FICO is an added advantage.

You will be part of an IT infrastructure Support Team managing mission critical high-tech biometrics devices at critical locations of significant national interest. You will be trained to manage, troubleshoot and maintain the operational availability of these devices and to remedy faults to prevent operational downtime.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:-

• Support the project teams in the implementation, installation and configuration of PCs/Workstations O.S., applications and related peripheral devices.
• Provide 1st level on-site IT support to the end-users on a 24x7 rotational shift, from 10 am to 10 pm/ 10 pm to 10 am, including Public Holidays.
• The successful applicants should be prepared to be deployed primarily at Tuas Checkpoint. The successful applicant could be deployed to the Tuas checkpoint in the future on a rotational basis.
• Provide findings and timely status updates to the Project Manager on major issues escalated by users.
• Perform daily health checks and inventory checks on the system.
• Experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting of PC / peripheral devices and application maintenance support will be required.
• Hands-on experience in supporting end-users in a Windows (Windows clients) environment is required.

• Having prior exposure to IT operational environments is advantageous.
• A strong Team player with the ability to collaborate and willingness to support one another.
• Communicates well and has good interpersonal skills.
• independent and has ownership of his/her assigned tasks.
• Certification in Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma, ideally with a focus/specialization in IT.
• Have a keen interest in IT Service Management
• Willing to work on rotations.

In the course of your tenure as IT Support Engineer, you will learn and acquire the following:

• Experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of biometrics devices as well as the maintenance of related software applications.
• Hands-on experience in supporting high-tech devices in Windows (Windows clients) environment/platform.
• Understanding of IT Service Management where SLAs (service-level agreements), and KPIs (key performance indicators) need to be managed and adhered to.
• Familiarity with the fundamental scope of work typically delivered in IT Support Services.
• Ability to work under time-sensitive situations.
• Career progression to Lead a team in providing IT Support Services.

• Use your product and fashion knowledge to inspire the customer by offering purchasing suggestions, and promoting campaigns, offers and activities

Store Operations

• Keep the fixtures full and tidy regularly throughout the day to maximise sales
• Ensure great garment care to sell the products in their best condition at the right time
• Replenish sizes and allocation to the sales floor through efficient delivery and refill routines to avoid missed sales
• Ensure all areas of the sales floor and back of house are always clean and tidy
• Ensure all routines are followed at the cash desks and fitting rooms to maximize sales and customer satisfaction

Team

• Share your knowledge and skills with your colleagues, offering help where needed to build a positive working atmosphere
• Give honest and constructive feedback to your colleagues to develop their skills
