Job Description
Reporting to Projects & Continuous Improvement Manager, the Accountant plays an integral role in Finance Division in ensuring projects align with company-wide continuous improvement initiatives and Finance Division roadmap.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for hardware and software setup assisting with installation / deployment of laptops, printer and other IT equipment including resolve issues encountered by users.
· Point of contact between IT Departments of the company and the Business Divisions
· Responsible for and co-ordinates IT-related administrative matters of the Division, including but not limited to:
- User Account Management:
1. Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights in various systems and applications.
2. Ensure Staff on-boarding and offboarding processes are executed efficiently.
- Regular reviews on user access and controls
- Annual DR Exercises
· Initiate, support and monitor systems and continuous improvement projects for the Division and ensure it aligns with company-wide continuous improvement initiatives and Finance Division roadmap.
· Be involved in digitalisation projects through process simplification, introduce concepts like report automation, process automation like RPA.
· Engage key finance business stakeholders, collect requirements and translate into tender or user requirements specifications.
· Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
· Information Technology (IT) or related Diploma or Degree and with at least 2 years of relevant experience
· Applicant with prior experience in system design and analysis knowledge will be an added advantage.
· Good communications, problem solving and project management skills.
· Good team player, self-motivated with positive working attitude
· Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced and high-volume environment or ambiguous situations.
