About the role

This role, WealthTech Operations Analyst, will be reporting to the Head of APAC Operations during the Project Phase, and transitioning into a Business As Usual position, working within a broader operations team. Key Responsibilities:

Project Phase

• Participate in the project to establish the abrdn Wealth Tech platform, being responsible for the Operations Target Operating model and processes

Sales Admin Support Executive

Job Description

1. Assist the Sales Manager in preparing proposals, PowerPoint presentations, quotations, and other related documents.
2. Follow up on proposals sent to clients and update the client database accordingly.
3. Coordinate with clients after sales confirmation to gather artwork materials and other necessary inputs.
4. Liaise with internal teams to ensure timelines are met and orders are delivered promptly and accurately.
5. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Other Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level, Nitec, or Higher Nitec.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Meticulous and proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• IT-savvy, with knowledge of Canva as an added advantage.
• Willing to learn, possess a good attitude, and demonstrate responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player who collaborates well with others.
• Fluent in spoken English and proficient in writing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and IT related devices. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Quickly assess technical issues, diagnose problems, and determine the best solutions to address user inquiries. This includes software troubleshooting, application errors, and system configuration issues. Interact with users to understand the issues they face and provide timely solutions. Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Audio & Video System Support: Manage the setup and troubleshooting of audio and video conferencing systems, ensuring smooth operation for meetings and remote communication.
• Ticket Management: Log all support requests in a ticketing system, track the progress of each ticket, and ensure timely resolution or escalation when necessary.
• Escalation of Unresolved Issues: Direct unresolved or complex issues to the next level of support personnel or related teams when required, ensuring that escalated cases are managed with continuity and efficiency.
• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to ensure smooth operations. Report incidents and suggest preventive measures.
• Software and Hardware Setup: Install, configure, and update software and hardware as required by the organization. Maintain an inventory of all IT assets.
• User Account Management: Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords, ensuring security protocols are followed.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all IT issues and solutions for future reference. Create user manuals or guidelines when necessary.
• Training Manual Creation: Write clear, user-friendly training manuals and support documentation to aid customers and employees in resolving common technical issues and using new applications effectively. Provide training sessions or guidance to end-users on common issues, new software, or equipment usage.
• Network and Security Assistance: Assist with basic network troubleshooting and basic security issues, such as network connection, virus removal and adhere to organizational IT security policies.
• System Updates and Maintenance: Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance on IT systems to keep them running efficiently.
• Additional Ad Hoc Assignments: Take on other ad hoc assignments as assigned, including tasks such as inventory tracking, assisting in the onboarding process, and preparing reports on common support issues.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or any related discipline
• Good knowledge of System Administration and Networking
• Possess at least 1 year of network experience
• Meticulous, good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A team player and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently or with little supervision

• Ensure the integrity and readiness of production systems within the Payment System team for the APAC region.
• Provide Level 2 support and troubleshoot production incidents, including critical system interfaces within the Payment System.
• Assist the Incident Manager by identifying and implementing preventive and detective measures, while delivering root cause analysis for production issues.
• Collaborate with the IT Planner to achieve project objectives, facilitating production transitions for new system launches and system change requests.
• Identify process gaps and propose system improvements accordingly.
• Develop and standardize processes, ensuring integration, implementation, and documentation align with established standards.
• Recommend and implement suitable processes for automation to enhance efficiency.
• Lead and coordinate projects, including support for change requests. Conduct requirement analysis to facilitate system enhancements, fixes, and emergency application changes.
• Escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders promptly.
• Participate in disaster recovery exercises, contributing to system restoration efforts.
• Organize and lead regular meetings with developers and vendors to resolve issues.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Application or System Support, preferably within a banking or financial institution.
• Possesses hands-on experience in supporting payment systems.
• Experienced in an Enterprise Application Support environment, collaborating with developers, infrastructure teams, service desks, and business users.
• Has functional expertise in payment systems such as GIRO, FAST, CTS, MEPS+, overseas and domestic remittances, internet banking, and customer eAdvices.
• Demonstrates technical proficiency in applications hosted on both Windows and Linux platforms, with the ability to perform database queries (SQL Server, Oracle) and manage application services on these systems.
• Skilled in scripting languages, including DOS and Shell scripting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be part of our Support team liaising with Product developers to support Client Products deployed at customer sites across the globe.

• Will work along with the Support Lead, take up support tickets assigned, probe the issue, and give possible resolution within the Turn Around Time.

• Candidates will be trained in client products to give end to end resolutions on usual technical issues raised.

• Candidates will be receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving issues that arises out of our products in any contact center production environment.

• Job profile involves travel to Customer Site across the globe on need basis to perform any support related activities on Client Products.

• Must perform technical troubleshooting on our products implemented at customer site by taking a remote session (or) by coordinating with onsite engineer.

• May have to extend regular work timings (if required) while working on Support tasks assigned.
