Job Description:

• Setting up, configuring, operating, and maintaining various electronic equipment involved in outside broadcasting production, such as HD Video, UHD Video, Audio, and Communication Equipment.

• Troubleshooting camera equipment and effectively communicating and reporting any issues to the studio manager and manufacturer for problem-solving.

• Keeping equipment updated with the latest software releases to ensure optimal performance.

• Ensuring that technical equipment and systems meet safety and technical standards with minimal disruption to operations.

• Proficiency in reading and designing camera connection workflows.

• Maintaining and routing video signals, including split camera signals, genlock, and data cables.

• Familiarity with video standards, calibration, and routing signals such as HD-SDI, DisplayPort, HDMI, RAW files, color metadata, and data wrangling.

• Care and upkeep of Virtual Production systems, including cameras, tracking objects, cabling, and AV signal flow.

• Assisting camera crew with calibration workflows and mounting Virtual Production tracking hardware on set.

• Troubleshooting video feed, tracking, and calibration issues with the Virtual Production team.

• Communicating changeover status and camera changes to the Virtual Production team for smooth operation.

• Continuously learning and adapting to new technologies in the industry to maintain a cutting-edge skillset.

• Proficiency in video editing.

Job Description

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support, providing clear and professional assistance to ensure a positive user experience through phone, email or in person.
• Identify complex issues that require further investigation or escalation to higher-tier support (Tier 2 or Tier 3) and ensure proper handoff and follow-through.
• Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals. Manage user accounts including creation, modification and deactivation ensuring correct access rights.
• Support cybersecurity efforts by configuring and upgrading routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, antivirus software and access points, as well as conducting disaster recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software and network issues and maintain proper documentation of common issues, solutions and procedures for future reference.
• Contribute to the knowledge base development and maintenance and, assist in preparing and enforcing the Company’s IT policies and procedures.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.
• Willingness to travel for on-site support when required.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, coupled with strong sense of responsibility.

1. IT Technical Responsibilities

1. Maintenance, administration and monitoring of Servers
2. Perform Server administration and management of windows servers, VMWare, AD Domain services, AD Certificate services, DHCP, DNS, MS Exchange and Email filtering
3. User account creation and deletion for Windows, Emails, BT, VPN, Messenger and door access
4. Maintenance/ Administration of Network Infrastructure
5. Maintain and update firewall settings
6. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, routers, switches, voice circuits, leased lines, telephone lines, etc for the smooth operations of the Company
7. Assist IT Manager in implementing information and cyber security and control structures
8. Handle system backup, storage management and system recovery.
9. Conduct servers backup (daily/weekly/monthly backup)
10. Handle renewal of maintenance services for IT equipment/ software licenses
11. Perform tests and evaluations on new software and hardware
12. Liaise with vendors for IT equipment purchase and technical support
13. Liaise with vendors for new voice circuits, leased lines, data subscriptions, etc
14. Check invoices from vendors & perform cost allocation (Voice circuits & data subscription) for Finance
15. Provide desktop support duties
16. Workstation and trading phone setup for new users
17. Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems networks, printers and scanners, etc.
18. Provide technical support for User Desktops, BT Trading system, voice circuits, etc across the company (in person or over phone)
19. Support of desktop applications like Bloomberg and Refinitiv related applications
20. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
21. Rollout Windows updates and patches
22. Regular checks for PC and Server OS patches and updates

2. Others

1. Assist in office renovation
2. Shifting of User positions or desk positions
3. Perform duties of an SMO – Safe Management Officer (acting as a back-up for the main SMO)
4. Any adhoc assignments by Management

Requirements:

- Minimum Diploma in Information Technology related field

- Minimum 1 year of experience

- Experience in firewalls, routers and switches configurations

- Experience in MS Active Directory Account, MS Exchange, VMWare and Linux administration

- Meticulous, resourceful, independent, good interpersonal skills and sense of responsibility

- Possess MCSA, MCP, CCNA knowledge and working experience in financial sector will be added advantage

- Good interpersonal skills

- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays occasionally
