Job Purpose

This position is part of the Client Service team and the main responsibility is to provide daily customer support for the whole spectrum of our transaction banking products. The candidate will also be expected to undertake end to end SMAR&TS onboarding process from platform explanation to user training.

Job Responsibilities

• To provide daily client service for our transaction banking products

Job Requirements

• University degree or equivalent
• Preferably with relevant banking experience and/or experience in the provision of client support
• Relevant knowledge in transaction banking client service
• Relevant knowledge in internet banking platform
• Good communication skills and proficiency in Japanese language as the incumbent will need to interact and provide client service support to Japanese corporates and communicate with them in Japanese
• Analytical, good presentation skills and service oriented.

Role: Trade Operations Analyst (1 year renewable contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely within VCG, Rates and PC team on rates sourcing process (end-to-end from source to distribution)
• Assist VCG & Rates team for daily BAUs including rate configurations and resolving rate exceptions/investigations
• Perform trending analysis of key market data drivers giving more insights to daily movement.
• Assist with testing of projects and initiatives in rates automation & enhancements across VCG and Rates team, as well as tracking and following up on the status of the various initiatives.
• Responsible for delivery of end of day market data for EOD valuation for an asset class.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• Good knowledge of treasury products, especially in the areas of Interest Rate/FX products.
• Experience in Commodities would be a plus.
• Banking experience

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid back office experience in Asset management companies – specifically asset/investment managers for Insurance companies is a MUST HAVE
• Proven experience working on large-scale system derivatives & collateral management implementations or outsourcing projects
• Derivatives & Collateral Management knowledge or experience including front office, technology, risk, operations and compliance.
• Familiarity with industry-standard derivatives front office and collateral platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Aladdin, Calypso, Cassini, Murex, TriOptima).
