· Perform the yellow belt technical assessment for the EI technicians and guide green and red belters to be prepared for their assessment

· Coordinate subcontractor works and audit their work quality standards.

· Carry out feasibility study, health checks and standardisation project for lifts and escalators according to customers’ requests, industrial trend and code of practice requirement.

· Provide technical support for internal staff from Service, Project, Sales and Sales Engineering Department.

· Coordinate with factory and/ or suppliers and contractors to implement new systems or repair existing ones on Schindler equipment, per customers’ requests.

· Coordinate and monitor corrective action programs, non-conformance, field feedback and field information.

· Support in the preparation of reporting for internal or external usage.

· Carry out ad-hoc assignments, such as, conduct training, attend customer meetings, etc.

· Lead in daily operations like maintenance scheduling and call back resources.

· Liaise with customers on their complaints and take the lead in follow up actions.

Support the Repair sales force in discussions with the customer to explore elevator repair opportunities (from a technical point of view).

• Optimize the team staffing by planning the personnel needs including workloads and training for effective deployment and cost control.

We are seeking an IoT Engineer who can contribute to a proof-of-concept project that has potential in a number of industries. You will help to conceptualise, develop and test IoT solutions before the solution is introduced to the market.

You are a self-driven individual with a passion for electronics/microelectronics, miniaturisation, IoT/AIoT and a desire to work on customer-focused solutions that have the potential to change people’s lives for the better. Responsibilities:

· Design and develop IoT prototypes and products for specific project requirements. Could include custom-developed software applications and configured products.

· Preferably with experience in electronic hardware design, microcontroller firmware development, mobile programming using Flutter, edge computing.

· Experience in any of the following will be an advantage: embedded system software development, IoT related protocol e.g. secure two-way encrypted BLE communication

· Experience and knowledge in remote sensing technologies

· Conduct proof-of-concept and technical feasibility when required.

· Evaluate the risk of security leak of the IoT system.

Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Info-Communication, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field.

· Prior IoT product development will be an advantage

· Strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as C, C++, Python, Java or Dart.

· In-depth knowledge of Bluetooth and Wi-fi standards, protocols, and system architectures.

· Experience with IoT & Bluetooth firmware & software development

· Familiarity with networking, IoT concepts/applications, data processing, edge computing and communication infrastructure for both software & hardware.

· Knowledge of security considerations in IoT systems.

· Proficient in mobile application development, e.g. Flutter

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate and interpret research data.
