The Rapid Response Damage Assessment (RRDA) program is seeking an Engineer or a Senior Engineer to assist with the modeling and analysis of vessel stability and hull strength for ships and offshore floating structures and verify their compliance with applicable Rules and Regulations.

· The RRDA program provides 24/7 technical assistance to ship and offshore floating structure related emergencies such as grounding and collision. When activated, RRDA is an extension of the vessel management team’s own response capability, focusing on the measure of changes occurring to hull strength, stability and the extent to which risk of pollution can be mitigated. This new position is expected to work along with a group of experienced engineers to respond to client service requests when emergencies occur or participate in routine vessel emergency response drills.

The RRDA work by nature of its complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in a particular field of engineering or science. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, the ideal candidate will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods and procedures.

What You Will Do:

Duties:

- Planning and execution of project plans at construction site

- Execute project plan and ensure works completed as per schedule and in accordance to contract specification and design drawing

- Ensure construction site fulfill authority's code of practice and comply with safety house rules.

- Handle correspondence job paperwork and submission

- Liaise with all parties involved in the project including authorities, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers

- Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor schedule

- Prepare and monitor work schedules, project costing, procurement, and coordination with all partied involved to ensure work progress smoothly and completed within target time and budget

- Supervise and report progress of the work to Project Manager

- Ensuring project progress are on schedule and to meet the timeline given

- Make sure having the latest construction drawings on-site and work is constructed as per drawing given.

- Update drawing if there is any revision and to keep a updates copy in site office and head office

- Feedback to Project Manager on any issue encounter on site and proposed feasible solution.

- Any other adhoc duties assigned by Project Manager

Job Description:

• Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients
• Ensures the smooth operation and optimization of the production process while upholding Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement optimization strategies.
• Assist and guide Standard Users with system-related queries and issues.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure the stability of production processes and the execution of operations.
• Respond to atypical production situations and emergencies, such as process outages, critical alarms, or equipment failures, diagnose issues and take immediate corrective actions or perform manual interventions together with Manufacturing supervisor/delegate, to restore normal operations and prevent any potential safety or quality incidents.
• Participate in manual intervention remediation projects. Identify, implement, and perform test execution for changes made to the system.
• Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.
• Attend to urgent requests and ensure timely resolution of issues. This involves providing support for manufacturing operations that may as and when be outside of regular office hours.
• Able to work on holidays and overtime as required. May also be required to adjust work schedule to meet production targets and demands.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Applied Chemistry / Biomedical Sciences / Chemical Engineering / Bioengineering and other related fields.
