Piping Engineer responsible for successful execution and delivery of assigned project (s) on-time, within budget, as per Contract Agreement, adhering to the quality & safety framework of the company.

Main Accountabilities:

• Serves as Company’s prime interface with customer, authority, sub-contractors and site personnel, on all process and piping matters.
• Carry out design and engineering for onshore and offshore E-house integration projects in accordance with project specification and international standards.
• Good understanding of piping material specification and design requirement.
• Able to carry out and interpret piping and support stress analysis.
• Works independently to perform the assigned task and develops solutions to technical/engineering and related problems by analyzing the issue or data, interpreting the analysis, and evaluating various options/measures using experience, precedents, and professional references with minimal or no supervision or guidance.
• Responsible for the delivery of piping process system on project schedule with customer satisfactory.
• Involves in Commercial and Technical evaluation for bid and Vendor procurement.
• Technical review / schedule follow up during detailed engineering, procurement and assembly of sub-vendor equipment.
• Coordinate with the project team members from other business lines (project management, finance, scheduling, documentation, construction, installation and commissioning, etc.).
• Responsible for leading Factory acceptance test with client and subcontractor.
• Support site commissioning activities to ensure the complete project delivery.
• Coordination to close out all punch list generated during FAT, MC ITR and SAT.
• Issue follow-up and closing up of deviation reports.
• Ensure safety in design through the entire phase of works.
• Ensure accurate red line markup transfer to As Built documentation.
• Responsible for timely submission of documentation and As Built documentation to support milestone invoice.

Challenges:

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Background in Mechanical engineering with minimum 8 years’ experience for piping in Marine & Offshore/ Plants Projects.
• Familiar with ASME, API, AISI, ASTM standards NFPA, SOLAS, MODU, API RP 505, IEC 60079 Standards, and DNV/ ABS/ etc class requirement.
• Required to have knowledge in pipingtesting and commissioning either in Offshore or Plant Projects.

• 5 years of development experience core backend technologies: Java & Python.
• Preference for 3 years of independently managing cloud environments independently serving projects in prior roles
• 2 years experience following TDD (Test driven development).
• Well organized and ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks. Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges.
• Able to translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions

Technical skills

• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, including Linux, containerization, Kubernetes, Azure, and Terraform(Infrastructure as Code equivalent).
• Strong understanding of cloud security, access control, and compliance.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will partner with our Cloud and AI Account Executives across ASEAN in a pre-sales technical role for Cloud and AI Networking portfolio.

• Lead the technical conversation supporting the region for complex products/applications/solutions.
• Provide in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstration

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for infrastructure network design, implementation, testing, security, managing and maintenance of proposed system
• Configure and administering routing, switching network devices and firewall products (e.g., routers, switches, enterprise firewalls)

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in IT
• Minimum 2-3 years network support experience.

• Hands on support/troubleshooting in at least Level 2 Enterprise Data Centre Core networks and Offices networks.
• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving efficiency of current networks.
• Proven hands-on experience with administrating Firewall Rules, NAT configuration and Routing.
• Experience with firmware upgrade for firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco IOS upgrade for network switches and routers.
• Good understanding and configuration of VLANs.
• Experience with MPLS management able to understand static and dynamic routing protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds using SNMP and NetFlow / sflow.
• Good documentation skills e.g. update network diagram, rack diagram and inventory list.
• Some Vendor and network project management skills.

• Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications will be an added advantage.
