• Support start-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis on safety and protection.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and to carry out warranty repairs.
• Participate in service and repair of gas detectors, safety activities, emergency response, breakdown calls and ad hoc projects.
• Manage all orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Service team.
• Liaison with relevant parties such as customers, service supervisor, coordinators and logistic pertaining to queries, technical issues, status and deliveries.
• Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at optimal level of efficiency.
• To provide support to other service activities that may be assigned in the course of work
• Effective communication of technical information to employees, customers and external parties in an accurate and concise manner in both a written and verbal media.
• To participate/take up Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/ activities as per requested by the company.

Requirement

• Min. Diploma / NITEC in engineering required
• Min. 3years' experience as a service engineer in Oil & Gas / Process industry.
• Knowledge in Electrical & instrumentation is preferred.
• Work experience in Process Instrumentation is a plus.
• Good team player.
• Customer service oriented.

Main Responsibilities

• Draft process improvement ideas with the objectives to improve process / occupational safety, improve product safety/quality, reduce energy consumption, improve production capacity/productivity, and reduce costs.
• Implement Process Improvement ideas via management of a Change system and/or Non-regular work system.
• Coordinate, arrange, and plan new grade trial run with the R&D and Operation team, and handle the trial run and the evaluation.
• Evaluate process performance and key process parameters from a long-term view and/or periodically to uncover potential risks that may lead to Plant instability, Safety, or Quality issues.
• Troubleshoot plant trouble related to process, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective and preventive measures as process engineering function or based on a request basis.
• Participate actively in HAZOP, FMEA, and Control plan studies as Process engineering functions for safety and quality improvement.
• Oversee Process related capital expenditures project from conceptual design up to Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Lead the project assigned by the (assistant) manager of the department.
• Study and implement Industry 4.0-related technologies as part of Productivity Improvements and Process Improvement Projects.
• Participate in Company's EHSQ program and cooperate with its promotion and improvement.
• Collaborates with other departments in Management systems such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, Safety Case regime, Energy management system, and ISCC plus as process engineering function.
• Perform study as Process Engineering Function such as NRW, MOC, and as requested by other departments.
• Keep and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Experience in Petrochemical Industries will be advantageous.
• Possession of Singapore Certified Energy Manager (Preferred)
• Familiarity with Safety Case Regime
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 standard (Preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and SS651.
• Familiarity with IEC 61511 standard (Preferred)
• Familiarity with Process Simulation software such as Aspen Plus®, Aspen, and HYSYS®.
• Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), in particular, its logic and sequence modification.
• Able to multi-task and handle a wide spectrum of responsibilities.
• Good interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills.
