Role and Responsibilities

Main Duties& Responsibilities :

Performing routine operations

1. Attend toolbox meeting and conduct take-over / hand-over with the technician of the next shift, ensure all the information regarding the status of each operations under his control are properly communicated and documented in patrol log/SSTlog and/or handover log sheets.
2. Strictly follow documented procedures (e.g. Standard operating procedure-SOP, EHS regulations, Check sheets, risk assessment) to ensure safe and stable operation in the plant
3. Record all the information in the documented records (e.g. Log sheet or check- sheets) as required and be involvedin the process trouble-shooting / investigations/ abnormality reports
4. Check sheets and workflow sheet must be filled up completely at each step and final completion confirmed by supervisor
5. Provide inputand/or prepare draft of revisedmanufacturing SOP or check sheets.
6. Promptly report any near miss / deviations / incidents to his Supervisor, directly or through Risk reporting & improvement proposal system.
7. Keep good housekeeping conditions at all times, return all tools / items to designated place and enforce similar standards to contractors. Ensure tools / items fully accounted during handover / takeover according to quantity and condition specified.

DCS Operations

1. Closely monitor DCS (Distributed control system) for alarms, analyze the deviation and respond according to documented process adjustment steps.
2. Upon instruction from shift supervisor, operate the DCS system in accordance to documented procedures.
3. Given instruction to shift technician in the field, to ensure close coordination and clear communication between DCS action and field action, to prevent mis- operation.
4. Keep all the relevant records/forms, signed and always ready for Audit. Always check the operational document latest edition and assist the SSVs in the enforcement and compliance.

Quality control

1. Has responsibility to ensure quality of products under his control, including prevention of foreign material contamination.
2. Confirms in-process analysis or finish product analysis results are within specifications. Report to the Supervisor when an abnormal situation (out of specifications) occurs.
3. Make necessary process adjustment to bring processback into controlrange.
4. Keep the record up to date and fill up requireddata/information on timely manner.

Performing non-regular work

1. When an abnormal condition is detected (outside of normal operating condition), stop operation and inform supervisor immediately.
2. After non-regular work discussion with risk assessment completed, and management approval obtained. Conduct tool box meeting before work starts.

Emergency response

1. Involve in CERT team/organization when appointed as part of CERT (Company emergency response team).
2. Participate in CERT training, drills and audits defined by EHS department even if not a certified/appointed CERT member (focus on CCR internal emergency matter such as calling/informing other party/group, entertain/pick up incoming calls, event scribbler and to assist as when directed by SMC/SMC).
3. When emergency situation occurs, follow the steps established in the emergency response plan, such as activation of emergency shutdown of processes.Participate in the mitigation of hazards ( fire fighting, spill containment, rescue) if qualified/certified/appointed CERT member.

Committee and training

1. Involve in Production department committee as shift representative/coordinator, to provide feedback to committee and assist the committee to implement action items.
2. Train and guide new technicians during on-the-job training. Provide document/record for the given training and submit to superior for review and acknowledgement.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma Chemicalengineering or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years work experience as DCS operatorin a chemical processing environment. Experience in polymerization and/or extrusion is advantageous.
3. Possess basic Knowledge of chemical processing and equipment, with working knowledge of ISO14001, ISO9001/IATF16949, ISO45001, SS651.

As a System Engineer, He/she is responsible for the testing and integration of complex systems within industrial clients.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for the Planning and Execution of integration, verification and validation activities

Requirements

· Knowledge of communication networks (wired or wireless)

· Expertise in defect reporting, characterization, and management workflows - Use of common defect management and tools

Maintenance / Service Technician

Summary:

The selected candidate shall be able to read and work from blueprints, parts lists, and assembly protocols. There will be use of parts washers, freezers, ovens, cranes, presses, torches, hand, and power tools. The selected candidate will be responsible for disassembling gear drives, inspecting disassembled parts, write up and reporting failed parts, and advise on replacement parts.

Required to go on field service calls within Southeast Asia to inspect, repair, install, and commission gear drives and other transmission parts at customer sites upon the request of Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Inspection, service, and maintenance on gear drives which include bevel, helical, planetary, mixer drive, mill drive, screw extruder units, hoist and swing gear drives, variator drives, marine drives, couplings and their subassemblies

• Direct interaction and coordination with customers’ site personnel

• Troubleshoot errors and advise on corrective action

• Self-motivated and able to work a flexible schedule as required (weekends may be required)

• Ability to analyse and resolve issues independently and efficiently.

• Write customer facing reports, which include Technician’s camera or bore scope photographs

• Create expense reports

Required Experience:

• 10 years prior experience in power transmission, heavy equipment assembly, marine, or wind gearbox applications

• Equivalent of 5 years’ experience specifically in field service operations

• Knowledge and experience with blueprints, metric system, work standards, ISO and quality documentation, basic gearing and bearings

• Mechanical skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Physically and mentally able to work suspended from heights and in confined spaces

• Flexible travel schedule

As a System Engineer, He/she will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the infrastructure and system by providing 24x7 standby support.

Responsibilities

· Monitor the conditions of the system to ensure they are operational and 99.95% available

· Perform verification and validation of the system, security and software patches at the Integration Validation Verification Qualification (IVVQ) platform and Production platform

· Perform scheduled system and security patching, and software deployment that includes the administration, configuration management and software upgrades

· Troubleshoot and isolate defects, including defects caused by failure of hardware, operating system, system software (e.g. Kubernetes) or any Authority Furnished Equipment (AFE) that is interfaced to the system

· Rectify defects related to the software or operating system. In cases where the defects cannot be rectified, to propose and implement a workaround for the software or system to mitigate the impact of the defect

· Identify and liaise with the original equipment vendor, or other Authority’s maintenance contractors to remedy the defect in the software of the system

· Maintain records of all defects, including defects proven to be due to the hardware, operating system, open-source software COTS software, or any AFE interfacing with the system

· Ensure completeness of and to upkeep all related baseline documents of the software and operating system

· Ensure all documents, software and operating system shall be controlled in accordance with the guidelines in the approved configuration management plan, for example proper hardware and software configuration control over any activities e.g. defect rectification and software upgrading

Requirements

· Minimally 2-3 years of experience in Linux administration

· Minimally 2-3 years of experience in Windows Server administration

· Minimally 2-3 years of experience in supporting mission critical systems with very stringent SLA e.g. 99.9%

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and facilities. The primary objective of the Maintenance Technicia is to minimize downtime, maintain operational efficiency, and contribute to a safe working environment.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Equipment Maintenance:

a) To perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and able to repair variety of equipment’s including mechanical and electrical systems.

b) Diagnose and troubleshoot a range of basic to complex problems and implement appropriate solutions to restore equipment functionality.

c) Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.

d) Perform preventive maintenance work assigned.

2. Facility Upkeep:

a) Monitor and maintain building systems such as lighting, and security systems.

b) Conduct regular inspections of the facility, safety hazards, and cleanliness concerns.

c) Coordinate and the ability to perform a range of basic to complex repairs and adjustments to maintain a safe and well-maintained working environment.

d) Minimize downtime due to equipment breakdown.

3. Safety and Compliance:

4. Equipment Installation and Calibration:

a) Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, machinery, or systems.

5. Inventory Management:

a) Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for routine maintenance and repairs.
