Qualification

- Diploma / Nitec/ ITE in mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Role

• Repair, adjust and maintain machinery, building equipment, and systems in the plant such as motors, pumps, valves, pneumatic systems, conveyors, boilers, belts, fans, HVAC units etc.

• Diagnoses, installs, maintain, and repairs of all production equipments

• Able to use hand tools and testing instruments.

• Pipefitting along with Welding and Fabrication

• Inspects and tests electrical lighting, signal, communication and power circuits.

• Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, etc.

Skills

• Willing to work any shift pattern:

Mon-Sat rotating weekly shifts (8 hrs shift: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am)

• Proficient in Industrial Maintenance (electrical/mechanical)

• Qualifications:2+ years with technical diploma OR 3+ years with ITE equivalent

• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• A thorough knowledge of electrical/ mechanical components and equipments.

This role is to service and repair material handling equipment and provide good customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• Analyse, diagnose and rectify issues on material handling equipment.

• Carry out electrical, electrical and hydraulic repairs on equipment and components.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenances.

• Perform modification, commissioning works.

• Undertake Supervisor’s Instruction

• Perform stock take

• Provide support and guide new colleagues

• Attend trainings

Requirements

• Strong Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic knowledge

• Good computer skills

• Able to speak and write English for handling English speaking people

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automotive

• At least 2 years’ experience in the technical field such as MHE, cranes, marine equipment, industrial vehicles.
