Responsibilities

Site Visit:

1. Attend to Customer’s site visit and assist to carry out piping or equipment measurement and installation of our products. (For Singapore and Malaysia Regions).
2. Produce drawings and work on BOM list after taking measurement.

Production:

1. Assist in measurement and cutting of PTFE sheets and fabrics.
2. Assist in soldering works for cables connection.
3. Assist in clamping of connectors.
4. Perform data entry to SQL system.
5. Ad-hoc duties as assign from time to time.

Requirements

· Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering

· Independent, self-starter, team player, eager learner, initiative and responsive

· Experience in Semiconductor and Building and Services industry.

. Possess good electrical knowledge. Electrical panel design and auto-cad knowledge will be an added advantage.

. Able to attend to site visit and assist in measurement and installation of our products.

· Possess class 3 driving license to use company’s van to attend to customers site visits.

Job summary

The Technical Support is primary responsible for carry out installation of our products and support in production work order.

As an Outside Broadcast (OB) Cable Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the preparation and deployment of OB cables for event coverage, primarily in sports.

This position provides an excellent platform to learn about rigging for broadcasting events and opportunity to travel with the crew after a couple of years of experience. No prior experience is necessary, as we will provide training to handle and prepare the various types of cables and rigging to support our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the OB Cable Team to prepare cabling requirements for outgoing shipments to all projects.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain cables from returning shipments post projects.
• Recoiling and packing of cables on drums, palletizing drums, and storing pallets on designated shelves.
• Test and prepare camera cables (SMPTE, Triax camera), audio looms cables and all engineering cables in general require for the interconnect and interfacing of broadcast equipment.
• Carry out fiber splicing, including using fiber tools and fiber optic test equipment, such as fusion splicer, power meter, and OTDR.
• Inspect fiber optic cables to ensure no defects that could undermine signal strength and performance and repair or re-splice damaged fiber if required.
• Test and prepare various audio, video, and power cables.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and a team player.
• Physically able to lift up to 20kg or more.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Certificate to work at height is a plus.

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Others or equivalent.

The Laboratory Officer/ Technician will engage in day-to-day operations, housekeeping, maintenance of the high containment (BSL-3) and BSL-2 enhanced laboratories. This role will involve but is not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform lab biohazard waste collection, sort, autoclave, and safe disposal.
• Liaise with biohazard waste contractor for scheduled disposal.
• Manage laboratory supplies, chemical and equipment inventory.
• Assist in coordination of the lab maintenance, calibration, repair of faulty and recertification of laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of lab supplies and stock checking.
• Track and manage personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory, perform regular checks, and replenish stock as needed.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the laboratories.
• Carry loads such as lab laundry and send for cleaning, drying and redistributing to storage cabinet.
