Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out preventive maintenance of Electrical and Instrument equipment (Motor, Variable Speed Drive, Lighting, Switchgear etc.) and process instrumentation (Transmitters, Control Valves, On-Off Valves, Analyzers, Weighing System, Tank Gauging System etc.)

• Troubleshoot, Repair, Install, Calibrate and Commission Electrical and Instrument equipment

• Develop and review Job Safety Risk Analysis and Maintenance Procedures

• Document and maintain all field observations and activities

• Good knowledge on Instrument Analyzers and Sampling Systems will be a significant advantage

• Perform 12 hours day shift when required

• Able to perform night callout duty

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry

• Possess hands-on experience in handling Electrical, Instrument and Analyzer Systems & Equipment

• Strong analytical & trouble-shooting skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Knowledge on PLC will be an added advantage

• Able to work individually or with teams

• Highly safety conscious and follow company safety culture

Relocation Options:

The position is responsible for daily engineering sections to support the hotel operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Daily Engineering Operations

• To cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications.
• Reads blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirement.
• Takes measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.
• Builds window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Lays out floorings, roofing or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible.
• Carves and assembles furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated.
• Builds scaffolding and other construction structures.
• Rectifies equipment and facilities breakdown as required.
• Responds to requests relating to carpentry issues from hotel patrons in a timely and efficient manner.
• Replaces faulty components / parts as required.

Preventive Maintenance

• Rectifies / Repairs damaged furniture to the highest quality level and in a timely manner.
• Rectifies / Repairs defective building surfaces to the highest quality level and in a timely manner.

Knowledge and Experience

• Proven experience as carpenter
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Good knowledge of English
• Good understanding of basic math
• Good physical condition and endurance
• Related or relevant carpentry training/certification preferred.

• Operates the equipment to deliver hot water to the respective services in the hotel as required.
• Operates the equipment to deliver clear and sharp images from the television and satellites equipment to hotel guest suites as required.
• Operates the equipment to deliver audio visual support to the hotel event as required.
• Assists and supports the emergency operations team during an emergency and a crisis in a timely and efficient manner.

Shift Operations

• Rectifies equipment and facilities breakdown as required.
• Replaces faulty components / lighting bulbs as required.
• Responds to requests relating to technical issues from hotel patrons in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collects daily utilities meter readings and verify plant / equipment are in proper operations as required.
• Patrols hotel grounds to verify fire and safety risk as required.
• Patrols hotel grounds to verify all lightings on hotel grounds operate within the preset timings as required.

Plant and Facilities Services

• Operates plant facilities to support every aspect of hotel operations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Preventive maintenance.
• Rectifies / Repairs damaged furniture to the highest quality level and in a timely manner.
• Rectifies / Paints defective building surfaces to the highest quality level and in a timely manner.
