The Calibration Lab Technician is responsible for performing calibration, testing, and verification of equipment and instruments in the areas of dimensions, mass, force, and torque. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform calibration and verification of measuring instruments and devices related to dimensions, mass, force, and torque in laboratory or client site as required.
• Operate and maintain precision instruments, including micrometers, weights, force gauges, torque testers, and dimensional tools etc.
• Conduct routine testing and quality checks on lab equipment.

The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to develop next generation transport and urban R&D solutions, leveraging on advanced AI and digital twin technologies. The role is expected to work both internally and externally with collaborators/stakeholders from industry and government agencies.

Requirements

· PhD in Computer Science/Engineering/Computing/Information Systems/Civil Engineering or equivalent

· At least 5 years of experience

· Relevant experience/expertise in at least one of the following areas: Transport system modelling, Agent-based simulation, Geo-spatial analysis, Digital twin

· Strong interests in statistical modelling, optimization, AI

· Proficient in programming languages like Java, Python or C++

· Self-driven and motivated team player

· Curiosity and passion to learn new things

· Good written and verbal communication skills
