About the Job

You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of Linux, Windows, storage clusters, virtualization clusters (VMWare and Kubernetes), and critical middleware services.

• Optimize infrastructure health through performance tuning, security hardening, patching, updates, and scalability assessments.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated provisioning and configuration.

Requirements

You will need min 6 years of hands-on, professional experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, software development, or a related field.

• Proven experience managing and supporting critical services across Linux, Windows, and middleware platforms.
• Strong background in Linux system administration and management.
• Expertise in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GP), and Windows-based infrastructure services.
• Extensive experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., ESXi) and container orchestration (e.g., Docker).
• Practical knowledge of network and software-defined storage technologies (e.g., Ceph, NAS, NFS).

1.0 Technical and Support Duties

• Assists in the minor changes to business application forms and/or reports wherever possible and permissible in the systems.
• Notifies IS vendors of any malfunctioning of hardware or application under the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Reviews reported application or system problems and resolve them on the spot if possible.
• Liaises with IS Manager on any IT audit matters.

2.0 Routine Duties

• Reviews automated backup logs and perform remediation when backup fail.
• Reviews antivirus alert notification and performs quick inspection on the reported user’s computer when needed.
• Reviews network Firewall logs and performs remediation when needed.
• Administrates and support Amadeus Integrated booking suite issues.

Performs any other duties as and when assigned by the IS Manager or Executive Assistant Manager.

• Work closely with project team to assist Quality and Validation Manager Asia region to the tasks on schedule and within quality standard compliance.
• Responsible completion of the Quality, Cost, and Time validation functions for customer projects.
• Create and maintain qualification/validation documentation for mechanical, software, and hardware components from the design phase of projects.
• Oversee the qualification and validation processes for projects in conducting risk analysis, protocol drafting, and test implementation during FAT & SAT process internally and partners’ sites.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of quality and validation of automated systems experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
