This is a traineeship program that will offer an opportunity for ITE or Diploma fresh graduates to obtain knowledge from structured training and OJT to gain work experience that will accelerate their technical competency and career progression in GE Aerospace.

The trainee will be responsible to set up and operate machines such as CNC machines in Milling, Grinding and Lathe; Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM); Surface Grinding; VT Lathe and various conventional machines and specialized equipment to perform machining operations. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate all types of conventional or CNC machines such as electrical discharge machine, laser machine, lathe, radial grinder, reciprocal grinder, milling machine, drilling machine, and specialized equipment to perform machining operation of the most complicated nature in the making of jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gauges, test equipment and product parts, and their rework or modifications
• May follow a particular product through the machine shop using a variety of machine tools to complete the finished product
• Use all types of standard and special gauges, various hand tools
• Maintain pertinent records; work according to technical drawings and instructions
• Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks
  

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Automation Engineering / Aircraft Engines Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
• Diploma in Aerospace Engineering / Mechatronics / Aeronautical Engineering / Aerospace Technology / Aerospace Avionics
• Any relevant Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma engineering courses
• Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Willing to accept a 1-year bond after the program
• Within 3 years of graduation OR the operationally ready date (ORD) for national servicemen

Our client is from Oil and Gas industry, a local leading player. They are looking for a Maintenance Technician for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.

Duties:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks as directed, and update the CMMS database.
• Maintain rotating and static equipment, plant piping, and structural support systems.
• Respond to and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Determine necessary materials, tools, and methods for safe maintenance tasks.
• Conduct machinery condition monitoring and field data collection with the production team.
• Ensure operational efficiency of all plant valves and mechanical components, including control and plant valve maintenance.
• Supervise in-house contractors and vendors, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the production team on mechanical system testing and troubleshooting.
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform valve line-up and LOTO for maintenance preparations.
• Participate in the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT) with assigned roles.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Handle day to day maintenance activities at various sites in Singapore
• Support troubleshooting on site for PV system, including equipment replacement
• Support emergency respond to site when critical alarm occur and prepare preliminary report
• Support/Perform de-energization and re-energization of PV system as when customer request for shutdown of PV System (this work is usually weekend work)
• Perform inspection on PV System according to checklist
• Perform testing & commissioning of PV System according to checklist
• Perform Infrared Scanning on PV AC Switchboard, Isolator, PV Panels and Inverters.
• Set up, configure and troubleshoot network switches, industrial router and data logger to connect to pyranometer, weather station, temperature sensor, revenue meters and etc.
• -Perform 5S and continuous improvement at workplace
• Manage external vendor for routine/ad-hoc activities

Requirements:

• Nitec/ ITE / Diploma / Electrical Engineering
• 2 years of relevant working experiences
• Work at height certificate for worker / supervisor preferred

• Set- up of PA / AV / VC systems and equipment. Service, troubleshoot and maintenance of the systems and equipment.
