This Team Lead role is overall in charge of the Electrical Engineering Team. He specializes in electrical and electronics, but has a good system view. You will be responsible for the competency of the team to deliver the project needs within the stipulated timeline, budget and quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of electrical engineers and designers, overseeing their development and managing the team’s workload and scheduling.
• Collaborate with project managers to define and agree on project scope, effort, and timelines for each work package.
• Provide technical and program-level support, offering guidance and execution strategies to ensure project success.
• Conduct thorough design reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure quality.
• Coordinate and align EE discipline processes and milestone deliverables with overall project goals.
• Ensure design verifications and validations are performed in collaboration with relevant system/subsystem engineers to confirm design accuracy.
• Understand project goals and constraints, balancing trade-offs between deadlines, quality, and budget.
• Ensure the timely completion of deliverables, project milestones, and tender proposals while staying within budget through effective technical and administrative management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support efficient project planning and execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading a team of 3-5 engineers.
• Strong coordination, organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and software architecture.
• Knowledge of microcontroller programming, PCB design, PLC, power electronics, wireless communication, motors, and actuators.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
