Job Purpose:

The Deputy Director, Healthcare Redesign Department, is responsible for driving the implementation and adoption of technology-enabled care transformation within Alexandra Hospital. Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Deputy Director will work closely to provide intellectual and organizational leadership and to build the capabilities to execute the department’s strategic goals.

Admission and Service Centre (AASC) has a team of financial counsellors who provides timely and accurate financial estimates information on patient’s hospital stay based on treatment or procedure. The role requires you to conduct bedside financial counselling for admitted patients in a consistent and comprehensive manner on estimated/ interim/ finalised medical cost. Financial Counselling /Admission

• Conduct financial counselling to patient/NOK on the estimated hospital bills, available subsidies and schemes and various modes of payment.

• To be able to explain and advise patient and their NOK on the various forms and the necessary proof of documentation needed.
• To ensure the original hardcopy of MCAF M/NEFR forms are submitted and send back to MOHH timely.
• To ensure SAP system is updated whenever these forms are consented by patient.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping of the reception areas and workstations to maintain a professional image and neatness of the workplace.
• Reply emails received in the AASC email account daily.
• Ensure all e-BARFs and merge request cases are raised timely and correctly within the department.
• To manage the department supplies inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Assess deployed solutions to see how well they met the original need. • Develop and establish quality assurance deliverables and testing framework, including create and maintain test plans and test cases in accordance with changing requirements, throughout development. • Create and manage automated test framework whenever possible, such as prepare test environment, maintain functional testing script in accordance with changing requirements. • Conduct system integration tests with external parties, validate the output and expected outcome e.g. data to and from external parties’ systems and feedback on improvement requirement. • Conduct impact analysis of defect fixes discovered during manual or automated tests, validate completed stories pass the acceptance criteria, raising defects as needed and work with development team to improve the expected behaviour and test cases. • Manage conflicts, issues and changes to ensure stakeholders and project team remain in agreement on solution scope, communicate and manage expectations of stakeholders. • Prepare end user documentation (training manual, user manual, business process flows) on the operation or maintenance of technical systems. • Assists with the documentation of technical design, specification, and technical solution. • Maintains document repositories used by project teams and assists with project documentation as needed.

What we are looking for

• Business Analysis certification (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®), Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®)) or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage. • Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles • Past track record in business analysis, application solutioning and design • Ability to model business requirements in business process modelling tool. • Ability to perform qualitative, quantitative and root-cause analysis. • Ability to facilitate discussions/workshops to elicit, manage and prioritise key business needs. • Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill deep to understand business needs and challenges.

As Technician, you’ll be assisting the Shift Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in managing the engineering/maintenance of your hotel and ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Assisting the Shift Engineer with the design of a preventative maintenance program
• Carrying out minor repairs at guest rooms or public areas
• Responding to requests from departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day
• Liaising directly with departments regarding the completion of work orders and prioritize in order of guest satisfaction
• Completing work orders assigned by the Shift Engineer or Chief Engineer
• Conducting daily inspection and rectification of all public areas
• Ensuring pool chemical level is in accordance with legislative requirements and surrounding areas are maintained to standards established
• Handling duties as an Emergency Respond team member during fire, Bomb-threats and any emergency cases in the hotel
