Responsibilities

· Responsible for the daily operation of the equipment and procedures for the Plant area to which he/she has been assigned.

· Manipulation of equipment and controls to carry out procedures, and completion of analytical in-process for process decisions and verification, and housekeeping of the work area.

· Responsible for seven basic performance areas – Yield, Capacity, Safety/Health/and Environmental, Quality, Plant Condition, Skill Development and Other Costs.

· Carry out all procedures in such manner to optimize efficiency in which materials are converted into finished products and to minimize the generation of wastes.

· Maximize the effective capacity for the equipment he/she has been assigned.

Requirements

· Nitec/ Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Chemical Engineering or relevant field.

· Minimum 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in the chemical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance during shifts.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize production disruptions.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to analyze and resolve recurring equipment problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and any issues encountered.
• Provide detailed shift reports and escalate critical issues to supervisors as needed.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions as required.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend and implement improvements to equipment performance and maintenance procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Technical Skills:Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting. Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation (preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and handle shift schedules.
• Other Requirements: Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Physical fitness to handle maintenance tasks in an industrial setting.

Support Operations Supervisor in operating the chemical processing plant to ensure quality product and to meet business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• operate, monitor process equipment to ensure that the process is operating within defined conditions and product specifications
• work with Operations DCS Technician to deal efficiently and effectively with any deviation in process parameters to ensure “Zero” safety and environment incident
• patrolling, inspection of field equipment and data logging
• Perform - routine sampling of process and conduct analysis - housekeeping and PPM of assigned area - loading / unloading raw material - minor maintenance
• prepare plant equipment for release to maintenance crew
• perform inspection and audit to meet corporate safety and local legislation guideline
• Be a member of the Site Emergency Response Team

The Candidate should have:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline or
• NITEC/Higher NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• 2-5 years field operations experience in a high hazard chemical plant, with DCS experience would be advantageous
• Preferable to have a Boiler Attendant 1st grade (preferred) or 2nd grade and/or Steam Engineer 1st grade (preferred) or 2nd grade.
• Commitment and adherence to safety systems
• Strong analytical thinking, practical problem-solving and good communication skills
• Conversant with World Class SHE and Operational principles relevant to operation of high hazard plant
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline and multi-cultural team in a high pressure environment
• Good command in English and computer literacy
• Able to perform shift work
• Diploma holders who just graduated from relevant discipline are welcome to apply

• Perform system performance test and evaluation and customer qualification focusing on vision inspection system.
• Evaluating and establishing vision system performance specifications.

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering discipline
• At least 1 year of field servicing experience in semiconductor industry
• PC hardware, OS and networking knowledge
