What will you do?

• Oversee the Server (Virtualization, Linux, Windows) and Storage (SAN & NAS) operations and administrations governed by IT Security policies and guided by IT Best Practices (eg. ITIL processes).
• Server and Storage (disk & backup) technology architecture design, upgrades and day-to-day operations.
• Implement & maintenance of IT Automation and Orchestration.
• Diagnose and resolve environment system abends and abnormal operating problems using system logs, and other available logs and documents.
• Maintain all system & sub-system environments in compliance with the security guidelines.
• Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of each sub-system and associated software
• Install, customise, and administer system and application tool running on Server
• Perform problem analysis and resolution implementation to support system and application needs

What are we looking for?

• Have strong background in IT, Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Have preferably with minimum 3 years of experience in designing, administering and maintaining new servers/storage based on Linux OS (SuSE, Red Hat), and Windows OS with good knowledge in disk storage and backup technologies.
• Working with Docker Containers and Kubernetes.
• Setting up and managing commercial cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Infrastructure As Code, IT Automation Tool such as Ansible, Puppet.
• Must be able to work beyond business hours including weekend when necessary.

• Administer, setup and maintain security posture of the network infrastructure.

What are we looking for?

• Experience collaborating in a project teams, delivering on key project milestones, and communicating effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Knowledge in conducting impact analysis, strategize, plan, and execute upgrade to new version.
• To be able to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotation basis which at times require work outside of normal business hours to support critical tasks.
• Knowledge in the latest networking trends and patterns, including those in the Commercial Cloud
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to elicit root cause of issue through asking the right questions.
