What the first six months in this role will look like:

• You’ll have onboarded and found your place through understanding your team and tribe vision and how you can contribute
• Understanding the Wise domain (Fintech) and team specific domain (the problems they’re solving form, intricacies of the domains) (50+ eng teams, all have different domain specific topics, they’re grouped in tribes e.g. Crime Fighting (Fraud, AML), but they’re very different)

Operation (Maintenance)

• Provide technical services to the maintenance and troubleshooting of the Electronic Queue Management System.
• Attend and carry out Fault Finding and Diagnosis of systems breakdowns, both on a mechanical and electrical basis, with a focus on providing high levels of service and response times.
• Follow Preventive Maintenance work schedules to specified standards and procedures and maintain all relevant written records.
• Maintain records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO standards.
• Must be available to attend for any project implementation, assist Preventative Maintenance accordingly for successful Completion of projects and maintenance issues.
• Be available for on call procedures and other responsibilities required.
• Handle customer’s inquiry, request and complaints in a professional manner and efficient way.
• Proactive in problem solving and initiate in providing IT solutions to improve the operation.
• Inform Superior on any stock movements to ensure the availability and stock level for the necessary procurement.
• Assist in root cause analysis identified by team members together with the Service Engineer and Superior.
• Assist in project related activities that includes deployment, installation, and testing.
• To follow all company business operation and SOP at all times.
• Participate actively in Health Safety and Environment programs and activities in order to achieve Company’s KPIs, ISO 14001 objectives and target. Proactively rectify any abnormalities, unsafe acts or unsafe situations and report to supervisor accordingly.
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping at all times.

Project Implementation

• Collaborate with vendors to implement project enhancements.
• Develop and maintain implementation and enhancement project plans.
• Manage project with specific focus on deliverables, tasks, and due dates.
• Report weekly to respective Project Managers when tasks are at risk till critical path determined.
• Perform independently with minimal supervision and work with others developing trusting relationships.
• Maintain strict adherence to internal policies and internal controls within organization.
• Ensure successful implementations across multiple functions in organization.
• Report any delays and initiate plans and alternative solutions.

Scheduled Monthly Standby Duties

• Answer all service request phone calls during scheduled standby duties.
• Attend to the fault call issues and follow SOP in attending to all the calls.
• Handover the tasks to the respective engineers who is on duty the next day.
• Support project adhoc activities (e.g. testing, deployment, commissioning).

What qualifications and/or experience should you have?

• Diploma / NITEC in Information Technology, ITEngineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic or other related fields.
• Familiar with IT desktop support.

· Administration experience of Storage Arrays of multiple vendors like EMC, Hitachi and Netapp

· Administration experience of Different Cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

· Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc)

· Experience on AWS CloudSpecific technologies like EC2, S3, Route53, Cloud Formation, Elastic IPs, VPC, RDS and Cloud Watch.

· Configuring Elastic Load Balancers with EC2 Auto Scaling groups.

· Optimized Volumes and EC2 Instances and created multi AZ VPC Instances

· Good Understanding of AWS Elastic Block storage(EBS), various volume types and Utilization of different types of EBS Volumes based on client requirement.

· Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.

· Incident management and change management process knowledge.

· Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background

Job Description

· Lead one or multiple product development, Responsible for mechanical design and overall product specification.

· Study for certain market and industry, provide solutions and proposal for new development.

· Concept design and machines/modules design & develop according to requirement and specification.

· Work with whole team for pneumatic and electrical design and electrical component layout.

· Work together among different parties for product development.

· Lead/guide junior engineers for mechanical design, assembly and detail drawings, BOM and product documentation.

· Evaluate technical specifications of third-party components used for own developments.

· Product continuous development and improvement.

· Communicate with 3rd party or sub-con for contract development if needed.

Education

· Bachelor/Master degree in mechanical/mechatronic engineering or related studies.

Work experience

· >8 years’ experience in mechanical/machine/automation design

Expertise and methodology

· 3D design software experience, such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo etc.

· Industrial automation knowledge, including motor, pneumatics, sensor, vision, bearing, linear slide etc.

· Understanding fabrication process & materials and know how to control tolerance.

· Calculation capability for standard product selection and machines design.

· Product Lifecycle Management and use of PLM Tools.

· Knowledge of industrial4.0, HMI and IloT.

· Understand product/machine development process and milestone.

· Comprehensive knowledge of MS-Office applications

The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) Engineer assists the MEP Manager and Project Manager in supervision of all MEP works at Project Site. Ensuring that works carried out by construction coordinators and subcontractors are in accordance with specifications, drawings and stipulated work programme. At the same time making sure that quality requirement, standards and MEP construction materials are efficiently utilized. The MEP Engineer plays a key role in coordinating with client’s representative, consultants, subcontractor, other trade coordinators, and BIM (Building Information Modelling) team, and managing a team of construction coordinators to ensure project is completed profitably.
