Overall Summary:

Senior Network Engineer will drive the implementation of strategy for infrastructure operations and maintenance to ensure availability of stable and secure systems. He/She manages project resource allocation and develops infrastructure implementation, operations and maintenance engineers; scopes out policies and sets performance expectations. He identifies problems and presents new methodologies and/or solutions to key stakeholders to enhance and improve the delivery of infrastructure operations and maintenance services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support infrastructure design and implementation

Responsible in the preparation of line index, tie-in list, piping layout and information, loading calculation, MTO sketch, BM/BQ, and 2D/3D CAD modeling of piping system, equipment and structure, interference detection, and model review.

Has the technical responsibility for developing stress/vibration sketch/model, and mechanical data, for interpreting moment, stress, reaction force, and displacement, and for coordination these responsibilities with reports to ensure timely completion that meets project schedule and budget.

• Studies ITB, project and design basis such as scope of work, overall project schedule, basic design data, client specification, client standard drawings, existing drawings, and plot plan through the guidance of Senior Piping.

Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Engineers and Technicians for the execution of I&C System, SCADA, Industrial Automation, BMS system or ELV system

• Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to develop onboard microgrid simulation models with energy management systems as well as to plan and test the relevant hardware systems.

  1. Develop detailed electrical models of the microgrid (power system) of various e-vessels based on the concept design in a simulation environment such as Matlab/Simulink.

  3. Operate the simulated electrical model with EMS controller to perform simulations for various cases to demonstrate performance and recommend improvements at unit, sub-system and whole system level.
