OBJECTIVES:

• Act as Tech Transfer Lead for process technology transfers from R&D, CMC or external collaborators to and from GMP clinical manufacturing of different modalities and platforms to meet tech transfer objectives.
• Provide external contract manufacturing oversight in technical operations to achieve project deliverables and timeline.
• Provide supports in biologics and vaccine plant start up and operation by providing technical evaluation, investigation and CAPA.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders within GMP clinical manufacturing such as Operations (Drug Substance or DS, Drug Product or DP), QA, Engineering, Validation in meeting operational targets and program /tech transfer schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead/support tech transfer of process/product with different modalities/platform from internal stakeholders and to/from external manufacturing partners in terms of tech-ops support such as exceptions, change control and process input.
• Provide external manufacturing support as part of tech transfer oversight.
• Work and coordinate with different sub teams during project phase to ensure their timely involvement and alignment to the strategy and successful completion according to schedule.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert in process operations equipment, including but not limited to single use bioreactors/fermentors, mixers and fill finish equipment (DP)
• Perform product/process root cause analysis for complex deviations and investigations using established problem-solving tools.
• Mentoring operations crew in process and equipment knowledge and know-how to operate equipment as per design intent.
• Provide impact assessment and support to change control and deviations of GMP runs during clinical manufacturing
• Perform risk assessment related to process, engineering and safety (ie FMEA)
• Support process/equipment procurement specification review, qualification/validation activities
• Support standard operating procedures (SOP) generation for process/equipment.
• Drive/support operations crew in troubleshooting related to operational issues when required.
• Support Audit as technology transfer SME where required.
• Act as a training/document coordinator for the department
• Act as a delegate to the Supervisors/Managers and conduct team activities in their absence.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• BSc/MSc in a engineering/scientific discipline (Bio/chemical engineering/life science/biology/chemistry) with 4-8 years relevant industry experience
• Biological technology transfer experience required, in vaccines would be an advantage
• Experience in aseptic process simulation/media fill would be an advantage.
• Experience/knowledge of cGMP practices as applicable to upstream/downstream vaccine manufacturing processes (DS), process development is desirable
• A thorough knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Well-organized and detail-oriented, with ability to effectively prioritize tasks with agility, eager to learn, interact and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in a team environment and consistently demonstrate reliability and responsibility.
• Must be a team player with good working ethics, initiative, diplomacy, positive influencing abilities and drive
• Good oral communication and demonstrable, exemplary writing skills
• Experience with problem solving and statistical tools will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Review Geotechnical Drawings from consultants.
• Assist the Design Manager in managing the consultant during Tender stage & Site implementation phase.
• To Conduct preliminary geotechnical design analysis /conceptual design for Tender costing purposes.
• To assist project team & operation team in solving all structural design related issues.
• Ensure design work procedure be properly and effectively implemented accordingly to OHSQ Management System.
• Manage and plan Design work and schedule to ensure shop drawings are accurately produced and approved in time.
• Liaising with clients on shop drawing design details and propose alternative.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of geotechnical engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or recognised Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer, and at least 5 years of experience in the design and construction supervision of geotechnical work for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams that includes Development/Infra/Products to ensure successful delivery, maintenance planning and correction of build errors.
• Day-to-day monitoring, backup, deployment and maintenance of systems
• Develop/build/maintain continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing to support high quality software build in a continuous build/deploy environment (Jenkins Pipeline/Library)

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experiences in DevOps engineering
• Experience with load balancing setup for TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, routings.
• Experience in computing platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure (e.g. AWS: EC2, RDS, ELB, EFS, ELK, ElasticCache, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, AMK, EKS, MSK)
• Experienced with building and setting up high velocity and reliable CI/CD pipeline using tools/platforms such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus, Maven, Spinnaker
• Knowledge on Quality Tools and Management tools like Sonar and Jira
• Proficiency with containers and cloud orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Hands on Infrastructure-as-Code control using tools such as Ansible AWX/Tower, RunDeck, Chef, Terraform, Puppet, Cloudformation and so on.
