The role of solution engineer requires in-depth understanding of the video cloud business architecture, helping internal/external business parties to deepen product awareness, promote product optimization, and output the best solution in combination with product capabilities.

As a technical expert, you will be working closely with client's global video cloud R&D and engineering team to promote continuous optimization of products, tools, and processes.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the design and development of video cloud based solutions;

2. Responsible for collaborating with developers and solving the problems encountered by developers during integration with video cloud services as well as the quality issues in the production service process;

3. Responsible for management of suppliers' demands, sorting out the issues in the integration with suppliers, promoting the development and optimization of technical specifications, and reducing service problems;

4. Have overall awareness, help establish a Quality Service (QS) evaluation system, improve the efficiency of problem handling, and effectively promote the resolution of quality and efficiency problems in the research and development process;

5. Organize structural learning points and consolidate developer handbook to form a common knowledge base for the solution team.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or other related majors, with solid fundamental computer science knowledge, strong logical thinking and learning abilities, and understanding of software design patterns;

2. Good professional accomplishment and self-drive, strong technical enthusiasm, able to continue learning and self-improvement;

3. Hiving excellent data analytical skills, issue identification ability, with prior experience in full-chain data collation and data-related tools;

4. Good knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols (eg. TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, etc.). Familiar with audio & video multimedia protocol, CDN distribution acceleration, RTC and other technologies is preferred;

5. Experience in project management, video cloud related experience or enterprise integration experience is preferred;

The Employee, being appointed as Operations Executive, is responsible for the following duties:

a. General Supervisory Duties

- Overall-in-charge for the management of security services provided at a fixed number of deployment sites

- Reports to Chief Operations Officer

- Reports on all security officers deployed at managed sites

- Audit and ensure the quality of services provided at managed sites

- Manages Operations Team

b. Site Management

- Conduct security and risk assessments of managed sites

- Plan, implement, and improve security procedures and processes at managed sites

- Conduct daily inspections of managed sites

- Respond to incidents that are escalated from officers deployed to managed sites

- Liaise with estate managers at managed sites on behalf of the Company

- Plan and implement SOPs for contingencies at managed sites

c. Deployment Management

- Plan for the deployment of manpower at managed sites at least one week in advance

- Cover the duties of officers in the event of shortfall, or provide for the covering of duties in shortfall instances

d. Technologies Management

- Audit and ensure the readiness of security technologies deployed at managed sites

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise at managed sites

e. Personnel Management

- Ensure the discipline and professionalism of officers at managed sites

- Enforce and police compliance at managed sites to client and Company policies

- Respond to grievances aired by officers at managed sites and resolve them as needed

- Plan and schedule for the training of officers at managed sites as necessary

- Conduct OJT for freshly onboarded officers at managed sites as necessary

- Assist the COO with the recruitment and onboarding of new officers

- Conduct regular appraisal and performance reviews of managed officers

• Mainly responsible for product requirements testing, including but not limited to: case writing, bug reporting and fix verification, user feedback follow-up, etc

Job Requirements

• College degree or higher in Computer Science , more than 1 year of relevant work experience in QA

• Independently complete the use case design of the responsible module under the existing process and take responsibility for the quality

• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of online issues through testing tools and platforms

• Independent progress control and risk assessment of assigned tasks

• Good communication skills, able to promote problem solving through active communication

Roles & Responsibilites

• Responsible in preparing documentation including daily report, monthly progress report, method of statement and work procedure to project manager
• Responsible in overseeing drawing management and make sure the updated drawings to the clients and sub-contractor are issued
• Assist the project manager or senior engineer in coordinate with related consultant and quantitly surveyor on the change order issued
• Coordinate and work closely with safety personnel to ensure all government and safety regulation are complied
• Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractor to update the progress of work
