Responsibilities

Quality Improvement and Monitoring

• Develop and implement a product quality improvement plan aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor product quality metrics, analyze warranty data, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Conduct audits, assessments, and collaborate with suppliers to address quality risks.

Corrective and Preventive Actions

• Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
• Identify and communicate process and product improvements proactively.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and classification societies to ensure consistent quality.
• Build relationships with partners, customers, contractors, and official bodies.
• Liaise with shipyard personnel and management to ensure product quality meets organizational objectives.

Documentation and Compliance

• Develop and manage quality improvement documentation and reporting.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, classification rules, and warranty claim processes.

Customer and Field Engagement

• Conduct customer familiarization with products and gather operational feedback.
• Travel occasionally to operational areas for fact-finding and quality assurance.

Professional and Interpersonal Skills

Qualifications

• At least 6-8 years in management or supervision of marine vessel construction, operation, or maintenance with a proven track record.
• Formal marine or engineering qualifications are highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation, dispute resolution, and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in managing documentation and records.
• A strong network of suppliers, subcontractors, and contacts is highly desirable.

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Automation Anywhere to optimize repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.

• Manage and maintain Windows servers (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022).

• Configure and troubleshoot core services, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and Failover Clustering.

• Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) and HyperV (SCVMM 2016/2019).

• Administer and support Citrix LTSR 7.15 XenApp and XenDesktop environments, ensuring seamless application delivery and desktop virtualization.

• Oversee the configuration and management of HP and Cisco blade servers, ensuring optimal hardware performance and resource utilization.

• Manage OS patching for Windows and VMware environments using tools such as SCCM, HPSA, and BigFix.

• Ensure compliance with security standards and minimize system vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure management.

• Hands-on experience with VMware, HyperV, and Citrix technologies.

• Proven track record in developing automation scripts and managing patching processes.

• Strong knowledge of Windows server architecture and core services.

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Automation Anywhere tools.

• Expertise in virtualization and blade server management.

• Solid understanding of patch management methodologies and tools.

We are seeking a highly-skilled, technology-driven IT professional with a deep understanding and extensive experience in managing application security, performance monitoring and API gateways. The ideal candidate must demonstrate practical expertise in tools like Imperva, Akamai, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Tibco Mashery, Splunk, Dynatrace & etc.

The successful candidate will join SIA Group's IT Infrastructure team and will be responsible for the following:
•Implement, refine, and oversee IT security measures focusing on enhancing the application security using tools like WAF and bot control. You will be expected to devise methods and strategies to improve application security.
•Manage API gateway, and work with development teams to ensure seamless and secure data transit between services. Knowledge of Apigee and Tibco Mashery will be considered a significant advantage.
•Leverage your hands-on expertise in application performance monitoring to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential areas of improvement.
•Proficiently use software tools like Imperva, Akamai, Dynatrace, and Splunk to meet operational needs and project requirements, demonstrating an agile response to changing tech needs.
•Project management, including responsibility for the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
