Goals
The Senior Manager Joint Venture and Partnership Management is responsible for the coordination and development of the Joint Ventures and Partnerships in Asia Pacific, ensuring the business development and revenue optimization with Joint Venture (JV) partners CA, NH, SQ and the continuous further development of existing and new partnerships in accordance with the Sales strategy.
Tasks
The Senior Manager Asia Joint Venture & Partnership Sales is responsible to:
- Ensure and secure effective coordination of Sales activities related to the respective JV/Partnership and Alliance topics
- Further develop the commercial cooperation between LHG and JV including process harmonization, integration, creating synergies from Sales perspective
- Represent Sales interests with interfaces/panels/boards and actively participate in the decision-making process
- Foster close collaboration and information exchange with internal and external interfaces
- Initiate and coordinate communication measures in the JV/Partnership environment with focus on Sales and safeguard the communication flow with Sales partners
- Serve as the primary contact person and counterpart to the JV partner for Sales
Requirements
The ideal Senior Manager Asia Joint Venture & Partnership Sales should meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in business administration, economics or equivalent required
- Min. 6 years of relevant professional experience in Sales or other commercial processes (Network, Revenue Management, Distribution, Alliances)
- Very good knowledge of the global airline industry and Lufthansa Group
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with business fluency in English
- Excellent strategic and conceptual thinking skills
- High intercultural competency / experience, confidence in the international field
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility, high commitment, and resilience in high-pressure situations
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to structure, prioritize, and deliver results within tight deadlines
