Position Title: Territory Manager

Primary Position Responsibilities

The Territory Manager position is highly focused on customer account management and ongoing service, support and sales development with respective accounts in a defined geography and sector(s) for Diversey.

This position primarily focuses on service and selling (additional products, tools and services) to existing accounts with an additional emphasis on new account acquisition (respectively 75% management and service/25% new acquisition).

This position will provide service by troubleshooting and offering technical guidance by identifying corrective actions, solving product or application problems, implementing appropriate product applications, and solving other issues impacting customer accounts. This is a direct, customer-facing sales role with responsibility to retain existing revenues and close new revenue opportunities with both existing and new customers

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Effectively provide account management and ongoing service, support, and sales development to respective accounts in a defined geography and sector(s). Implement white spot prospecting to include existing products, new products and innovations, enhanced sustainability and operational efficiencies (water, energy, chemical usage), and where appropriate food safety solutions
• Technical knowledge of laundry, kitchen, housekeeping application troubleshooting. Expertise of handling sales and client management for cleaning chemicals, machinery, tool and equipment’s industry.
• Monitor and report for both respective accounts and aligned Key Accounts by utilizing corresponding tools, such as Sales Funnels, quarterly reporting, market share analysis, and other reports requested by central stakeholders and supervisors.
• Work intensely and directly on hygiene chemical application expertise and execution delivery, including customer training and merchandising, to reinforce value proposition and brand equity. Hold monthly and quarterly review session with customers’ heads of department and location general managers.
• Grow sales in geographic area and sector(s) by identifying, analyzing, and addressing opportunities for new customer acquisition as well as within existing customers through product and application recommendations.
• Continuously focus on sales growth execution and sales target achievement. Liaise with TCS to ensure appropriate service support for respective accounts

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• To manage tender works including provide the directions on planning, construction technique, quality of tender submission documents, risk and issue management, tender price negotiation with suppliers and subcons for finalization.
• Assess tender documents, scope of works, checking the feasibility for qualification, financial criteria.
• Prepare presentations, risk matrix, information to top management to get approval for bidding.
• Responsible for the technical & commercial bids as per the tender requirements.

This individual is responsible for managing a team of production employees and packaging material resources to meet customer order fulfillment. Responsible for production planning activities to optimize the manpower & material resources in meeting customers on-time delivery.

This incumbent manages all the production (after the BFS process) aspects of the company.

NATURE AND SCOPE

A. Report Relationship – This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

B. General Department Overview - responsible for managing a team of production employees and packaging material resources in meeting customer order fulfillment. And responsible for production planning activities to optimize manpower & material resources.

C. Areas of Responsibility –

• Manages manpower & packaging material resources to meet customer on time delivery
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production packing employees
• Manages production planning activities to optimize resources in meeting customer order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with other departmental heads in meeting common Company’s objectives
• Prepare cost and budgets to ensure workflow meets Company’s objectives
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and Company’s objectives
• Ensure accurate inventory control in the production shop floor
• Ensure safe & proper housekeeping in the production shop floor
• Drive continuous improvement in the production packaging related processes
• Ensure compliance to ISO procedures, GMP, quality standards and all other regulatory requirements including safety precautions.
• Reporting to top management on production metrics
• Undertakes to carry out any other duties as assigned by the superior / management

D. Challenges of Position – This position requires knowledge and experience in managing a team of production workers; and in production planning & scheduling activities

E. Communication Network – The incumbent requires excellent clear communication skills to work closely with both internal and external customers and to manage a team of production workers.

G. Requirements – Diploma / Degree in Production Management or equivalent with good written and verbal communication skills. SAP knowledge will be an advantage

Job Scope

• Manage and execute project in cost effective, on time delivery with quality standards to meets client expectations;
• Managing the projects in accordance to our Company’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Standards and contractual requirements;
• Pre and post-contract stages from vetting tender documents, organizing tender activities as well as settlement of accounts with owner, sub-contracts / suppliers;
• The development and implementation of project management plans through the provision of project scheduling, monitoring, reporting and forecasting, ensure that safety regulations are complied;
• Providing and preparing all scheduling, budgeting and specification for the project work;
• Check drawings and quantities and ensure that the calculations are accurate for the project implementation;
• Carry out project planning, cost control, project management and documentations;
• Provide the direction in construction planning, coordinate work with other departments, sub-contractors, clients and consultants to ensure overall construction progress as scheduled;
• Liaise and assist in submission of all necessary permit, license to all relevant authorities for the project work;
• Attend meetings, correspondences and liaise with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers;
• Resolve design and site problems encountered during the construction period;
• Plan and manage actual and post construction issues with the clients, consultants, sub-contractors and relevant authorities;
• Ensure proper documentation of the project, such as record correspondence, as-built drawings, etc..;
• Close supervision of work carried out by sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project schedule;
• Ensure highest quality on the work carried by the sub-contractor, fabricators and suppliers;
• Liaise with consultants, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers on the implementation of the projects;
• Check on the progress claim submitted by the sub-contractors;
• Monitor, track, report project progress, supervise Engineers, Supervisor, Technicians and sub-contractors’ on site;
• Follow-up on the defective work and ensure timely rectification by contractors, fabricators and suppliers;

Job Requirement

• Recognised Degree by BCA in Civil Engineering.
• 10 years’ experience in Civil Engineering Projects, especially in Marine Construction of Jetty, Wharf, Harbour, Dredging, etc.
