RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure timely issuance of Freight invoices and chasing/settlement of Freight upon completion of discharge
  • Check correctness of all data in Freight Invoice prior posting/sending
  • Pursue outstanding Freight payments via broker and charterer channels
  • Coordinate with Chartering/Commercial in case of delayed payments
• Calculation and submission of Demurrage and Miscellaneous claims / revenues based on handovers from Operations Department
  • Thorough perusal and understanding of CP and voyage documents to calculate and submit demurrage invoices and miscellaneous claims for relevant voyages in accordance with CP terms
  • Verification of Master's Statement templates on various operation-related claims e.g. Speed up, Deviation, Interim Port Calls, Backloading, Drifting, Shifting Bunkers, Turkish Straits and Panama Canal Delays, Awaiting orders and any other claim requests received from Operations Department prior raising Invoices to Charterers
  • Verification of AWRP, Armed Guards, Crew War Bonus and any other claim requests received from Control prior raising Invoices to Charterers
  • Ensure all claims/revenues are invoiced with full supporting documents, and are received within the time bar stipulated in the CP
• Collection of Claims and Maintain and update Receivables Summary
  • Frequent follow up with brokers and Charterers on payment of invoices by Charterers
  • Maintain customer relations and pursue timely settlement of outstanding claims
  • Travel to meet Brokers and Charterers to the extent needed in order to build and strengthen relations and resolve overdue/challenging claims with relevant parties
• Liaising with Pool FD&D for support in chasing outstanding claims and handling legal action
  • Evaluating the accuracy and correctness of disputed claims, taking and following advice from FD&D Club
  • Co-ordinate Legal Action with the Pool Participants and their FD&D provider
  • Sending and following up of Legal Demand letters for overdue claims
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Maintain and update relevant systems

- Sourcing, evaluating and recommendation for quotations

- Ensuring the compliance and safety of the property, including but not limited to:

· Ensuring timely renewal of licenses and any authority compliance requirements

· Manage all licensing and statutory obligations, such as fire safety certifications and building permits.

· Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate safety risks.

· Review method statement and risk assessments submitted by Tenderers, before issuing Permit-to-Work to all Tenderers performing works in the premise.

· Ensure that emergency response plans are in place and conduct fire drills are carried out by the appointed SFSM as required.

- Liaison with tenants on property management and leasing related matters where applicable.

- Assess and submit report on performance of terms Tenderers before expiry of the term contract and inclusive of response to call centre feedback.

- Check on illegal tapping of water and electricity supply

- Check on illegal usage of space; unauthorised assignment and sub-letting of factory premises; unauthorised additions and alterations to factory premises

- Report on any unusual activities taking place in the estates

- Conduct joint inspection with representatives of various authorities for matters pertaining to the maintenance and regulatory requirements of the estates

- Notify tenants by means of circulars of any pending shut-down of essential services and to get their endorsement on such circulars

- Supervision of A&A works / Upgrading works / Asset Enhancement works

- Attending to authorities' inspections and operational exercises such as NEA, SCDF, BCA, URA etc.

- Attending to site show rounds for Tenderers' tendering and quotations process

- Tenants contacts (Good tenant relationship management) including mediation works between tenants

- Attending to tenants' weekly or monthly meetings (where necessary)

- Attending to hoisting works (can last 3-4 hours per hoisting) - MOM requirements

- Conducting of Fire emergency briefing and actual drills includes all documents such as circulars, survey forms, etc... and all logistics such as assembly sites preparation, fire training, etc...

- Monthly documentation such as Meter readings including going to site to take readings, computation of charges, sending reports to Finance for invoicing for air con, chilled water, electrical, water, etc.

Job Requirements:

- Candidate must possess experience with some carpark management and facilities background.

- Good in interpersonal & communication skills.

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for leading the contract(s) and all employees in the growth and development of additional business opportunities with existing customer. Ensure ongoing customer service and maintaining customer relations by focusing on the contract's daily operations based on the needs of the customer.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

· Responsible for attainment of profit objectives of contracts, provides financial analysis and decision making for customer.

· Lead and foster creative problem solving, develop positive and professional relationships with customer and within contracts.

· Oversee operations schedule and staff in anticipation of customer needs. Oversee the staffing needs of contract to assure sufficient labour to meet the customer's requirements and control costs.

· Manage the contract staff to assure continued quality service by writing procedures, testing hiring and training managerial and operational personnel.

· Encourage use of Performance Management system in all facets of the operation. Maintain the contracts quality performance objectives through the continuous improvement processes.

· Establish and monitor cost control programs, including annual budget development, monthly P&L review, payroll, and cost analysis. Through the use of Performance Management projects, guide managerial staff to monitor and control costs on a weekly basis.

· Day to day administration of contract, including: preparation of customer related performance reports and other correspondence; requests from vendors, general office and contract employees; and all other items that fall within managerial scope of responsibility.

· Negotiate and enforce collective bargaining agreement where applicable.

· Negotiate resolutions pertaining to conflicts in the workplace.

Education And Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics, 3PL or Transportation is required.

· At least 8 years experience and expertise in operations and business management is required.

Languages And Communication Skills

· Must be able to read, write and speak both English and Japanese fluently.

· Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.

· Exceptional written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.

• To manage and account for appropriate spare AVL equipment stocks remain available and serviceable on site to support operations.

• To be part of Production Team during the de-installation phase to ensure all AVL equipment are dismantled, accounted and packed for shipment.

Position : Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

· Maintain inspection records of works, materials and all completed works

· Keeping track on variation and claims of contract and cost impact and feedback information to the Project Director

· Implement cost control measures to meet project budget

· Site co-ordination with all concerned parties and to resolve site issues

· Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation, according to the Project Management Plan.

· Liaising with consultants on design analysis, design work, design check for approval and to resolve technical issues on site.

· Site inspection for civil work, which includes excavation, structural, casting and ensure that the work is executed as per the project specification and construction drawing/final approved drawing from authorities.

· Ensure worker carried out meet out quality standards and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field

· Minium 5 years of project environment experience

Account management and marketing: Build and develop established relationships with key customers such as shipyards and owners, and technical consultants. Lead all business development and marketing activities to achieve sustainable profitable growth.

Strategy planning: Take a proactive support role to plan and prepare the annual budget and sales forecasts and execute specific plans to meet the target. Regular provision of information for planning and forecast via sales force

Operational management: Align sales with factory’s manufacturing capacity. Work in close cooperation with all key functions and help to maximize the capabilities of the business. Manages sales process, coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with technical team, internal functions, other involved professionals and management.

YOUR PROFILE

· Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical field.

· You have a strong and successful sales experience of around 5 to 10 years in marine industry, preferably selling capital equipment’s.

· You are a strong networker and to-the-point communicator who is able to build and maintain a solid internal and external network.

· You have good interpersonal skills and can interact easily and influence all levels of stakeholders.
