Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, include reviewing and posting of all journal entries

Requirements

The Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Accountant reports to the Finance Director and is responsible for all consolidation, accounting, tax, treasury, reporting and finance functions of corporate subsidiaries and portfolios held by the Group.

The role:

• Provide timely financial reporting of the Group and Business Units’ results, including financial analysis and information for management decision-making.
• Oversee year-end Group audit and statutory audits, financial statements preparation, XBRL, and tax filings, and collaborate with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers as needed.
• Establish and uphold accounting policies for consistency and compliance with Shareholder’s accounting guidelines.
• Support portfolio companies on financial matters, develop procedures, implement internal controls, and monitor business performance.
• Provide value-added insights and recommendations for improvement through relevant financial recording, reporting, analysis, and budgeting, leveraging data visualization for insights.
• Review and approve invoices, manage payments, contribute to strategic projects, and fulfill any other required duties as needed.

The person

• Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent, with a CPA or CA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with accuracy and efficiency in an unstructured environment, with a growth mindset and flexible approach.

Role Description:

Reporting to Finance & Admin Manager, you are responsible for day-to-day accounting function, property rental invoice management and office administration. True to start-ups, the finance and admin team is lean but sharp.

Experience:

6 years of experience in financial accounting and experience with property rental or investment management is a bonus. Ideally proficient with Quick Books and Time Software.

Requirements:

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions including month end closing, budgets and cashflow forecast, CPF and GST submissions, payroll, and AR/AP functions.
• Preparation, review and analysis of management accounts. Corporate finance matters, feasibility studies, financial analysis and evaluation of performances, variance analysis, cost control also fall within the remit of the role.
• In-charge of all office admin related matters and liaise with auditors, tax agents, MOM, IRAS, CPF Board and any other government authorities.
