A Day in the Life

Medtronic’s Tax Department consists of over 100 tax professionals and support personnel located in different locations in the United States (U.S) and six different locations outside the U.S. The Tax Department is broken down into seven major groups: Reporting & Tax Accounting, Compliance, M&A and Tax Planning, Audits & Controversy, Transfer Pricing and International Taxes. In this role, the Tax Accountant, Asia Pacific (APAC), will have responsibility over designated countries’ income tax compliance (managing an outsourced provider), audits, and tax planning.
