The Role

This position will be responsible for reviewing and management reporting for the assigned portfolio of companies.

Job Responsibilities

• Review of accounts prepared by the offshore finance team for the portfolio of assets, ensure compliance with Singapore FRS is done correctly and ensure mapping to accounts done correctly.
• Management reporting / MIS preparation for the assigned portfolio fo companies on a monthly basis
• Assist with bi-annual forecast and annual budgetingHandle client payroll administration including application, managing CPF submission, Form IR8A
• Experience doing Xero migration
• XBRL
• Preparing Tax submission - Corporate Tax, GST, Withholding taxes etc
• Preparing annual report per local statutory requirements
• Assisting in Client Audit
• Any other ad-hoc reporting

Job Requirements

• Singaporeans/PRs only to apply
• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ of relevant post-qualification experiences.
• Familiar with tax law in Singapore – GST, WHT, Corporate tax
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required as the role requires liaising with various parties such as inter-department, external suppliers, property manager and operators.
• Hands-on with good eyes for details, responsible, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 830am - 5pm

Contract Period: Immediate till June 2024 (extendable based on performance and business needs)

Job Responsibilities:

• Address taxpayers’ tax queries on the various tax types such as Individual Income Tax, Property tax over the Helpline
• Promote and nudge taxpayers in the usage of our e-Services and chatbot
• Guide taxpayers on the step-by-step e-Filing procedures and provide advices on their filing and payment obligations

• Only Singaporean
• GCE A level and Diploma
• Good communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

As an Outsourced Tax Manager at RT, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with their tax-related needs. You will work closely with a variety of clients across different industries and countries, providing tax compliance and advisory services while ensuring that their tax obligations are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

• Provides operational management support and be the go-to person for a portfolio of clients to deliver high quality tax services such as full range of tax compliance and assessment, GST compliance and advisory, tax consultancy and planning, international tax advisory services and any other tax related engagements.
• Develop tax solutions and provide tax strategy planning and advisory services to SMEs and publiclisted clients across a diverse range of industries. Experience in cross-border transactions, structuring and tax planning, coupled with good communication and report writing skills, are essential.
• Reviews and provides key technical expertise and operational leadership to ensure the performance and quality of all tax work.
• Value-adds to the organisation by developing tax solutions and being involved in a broad range of projects to achieve tax efficiency, as well as foster a culture of learning and professionalism within the team.
• Serves to develop and maintain long-term client relationships and value-add to the organisation by proactively identifying new business development opportunities and be responsible for the development and marketing of new products and service offerings.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Preferably having a Professional Qualification in Accountancy or Taxation.
• Preferably an Accredited Tax Practitioner or Accredited Tax Advisor with SIATP.
• At least 5 to 6 years of experience in tax management including tax compliance, tax advisory and GST.
• Diligent, resilient and well-motivated professional who possesses excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Managing company’s project performance, from delivering of operational KPI to liaising with internal Project Managers.
• Prepare quarterly reports for review and clearly present the results and status to various stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Key personnel in maintaining, analysing, and forecasting project cost to project team and management.
• Active involvement in budgeting and forecasting processes; administer and review all project forecasts and actual, explain and correct variances on a monthly basis.
• Liaise with external auditors to conduct statutory audit and interim audit.
• Provide insights into project WIP, collections, risks, opportunities and cashflow.
• Actively reviewing and recommending measures for continuous improvement in project management and reporting processes.
• Present updated financial data and actively attends project management meeting to review cost status.
• Review and provide accurate project payment respond and invoices for payment.
• Any ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or any other recognized professional qualification of the same equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Prior exposure to accounting for construction contracts is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage different personality types.
• Work well under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.

Corporate Accounting:

• Aid in the day-to-day operations of corporate accounting.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.
• Supervise and coordinate inter-company fund transfers.
• Compile the complete set of accounts.

Vessel Accounting:

• Manage vessel accounting autonomously.
• Possess expertise in Portage Bill Accounting.
• Generate fund requests for owners and oversee receipts.
• Create comprehensive vessel reports with accompanying documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of reports.
• Review vessel reports meticulously and address queries from owners.
• Assist in reconciling inter-company vessel balances.

Financial Reporting Tasks:

• Supply Management Information System (MIS) data related to vessel reports to the immediate supervisor/head office.
• Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits.
• Communicate with various fleet offices and departments.
• Collaborate with the Head Office on inter-company transactions.
• Assist in providing supporting documents and audit schedules to auditors during year-end audits.
• Engage with the accounts team at the vessel owner’s office.

Ad Hoc Assignments:

• Manage impromptu tasks to support the finance and accounts department.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with a robust understanding of accounting, particularly in handling vessel reports independently.
• Hold a graduate degree or Higher Diploma in Accountancy, Business, or a related field.
