Job Description

1. Monthly Management Accounts and Analysis

• Responsible for timely accounting closing and ensure all closing schedules and activities are completed in accordance with timeline
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, monitor and analyse of income and expenditure against budget/ forecast/ prior year.
• Assist in forecasting of financial results and perform profit and loss statement for Business Heads
• Review of balance sheet accounts and perform variance analysis
• Act as Liaison with key stakeholder to support and advise on finance policies, budget and other accounting matters.

2. Annual Financial Budget

• Involve in planning and coordinating with departments for annual budget exercise
• Issue of budget templates for dissemination to relevant departments
• Prepare budget review of departments and analysis of income and other expenditures
• Assist in budget analysis and presentation pack for management

3. Full set of accounts and financial year-end

• Responsible for maintaining full set of account for related company as assigned
• Review to ensure all expenditure and liabilities are properly recorded in the system
• Ensure timely accounting closing and assist in monitoring of balance sheet accounts and respective reconciliation.
• Preparation of monthly report to key stakeholders and annual financial statement in accordance with FRS

4. Accounts Payable

• Perform check for assigned invoices to ensure proper approval and compliance with internal control procedures and company guidelines
• Conduct check over vendors’ bank accounts in accordance with standard operating procedure

5. Other matters

• Prepare statistics and other reporting requirements
• Handle any ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned
• Assist in treasury arrangement and other banking matters
• Be responsible for reporting any concerns about a child to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
