RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Preparation of monthly reports, annual operating and capital budgets for the Territory
2. Involve in the day-to-day finance operations of the Territorial Headquarters
3. Analyse variance between budget and actual results
4. Analyse trends, possible improvements, areas of risks, financing and any key issues relating to the business and provide recommendation for improvements
5. Monitor risks that could threaten liquidity of the organisation and risk management control
6. Review and assess the audit findings from the auditors, ensuring that all exceptions and issues are addressed accurately by the appropriate finance and accounting staff members
7. Provide feedback and recommendation to management regarding utilization of financial data.
8. Maintain the chart of accounts
9. Evaluate the accounting and internal control systems throughout the Territory, offering recommendations
10. Review the completeness of the financial accounts and cost accounting
11. Ensure compliance with organisation policies, boards, councils' decisions and government statutory legislations

1. Degree in Accountancy with ACCA/CPA or other professional accounting qualifications
2. At least 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably from the social services background.
3. Good knowledge and familiar with ERP software is a plus
4. Able to work independently
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Description

• Perform full set of accounts with daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, bank receipts, etc.
• Oversees Clients by issuing monthly maintenance and adhoc sales invoices to clients and monthly SOA.
• Chasing payment (AR) and send monthly AR aging report to directors.
• Update Monthly Project Summary & Adhoc Summary
• Monitor/check supplier's AP invoices and make payments
• Monitor daily cash balances to ensure sufficient funds for operational need.
• Prepare/compute monthly payouts for Supervisors and workers and pass to HR for payroll processing.
• Prepare Quarterly GST submission.

Job Scope:
• Handle and review full set of accounts.
• Ensure strict adherence to account closing deadlines and completeness of reporting of the Group.

Job Descriptions:

Preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidation reports, analysis, and management reports.

Prepare and evaluate the financial performance of a company and provide suggestions and recommendations based on the financial reports prepared to improve financial performance

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

• Responsible for revenue recognition, journal entries and AR/GL reconciliations

• Review of Account Executives daily finance activities, including checking of posted entries in MYOB, matching Payment Voucher information to approved Staff Claim supporting receipts, Suppliers Invoices and Delivery Order/Service report.
• Review of Sales Invoices raised by Executives with supporting documents before authorising the Sales Invoice. Checking to MYOB to ensure accuracy of sales entries posted in MYOB by the Account Executives.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel for monthly stock-take exercise and reconcile any stock differences.
• Quantify monthly provision of expenses and revenue accrual
• Review monthly Balance Sheet, Income statement and other closing schedules
