Position Overview:
CFS is seeking a driven and organized Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to support the Assistant Director (Philanthropy Solutions) in delivering bespoke philanthropic advisory solutions and collective giving programmes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about advancing strategic philanthropy.
As part of a high-impact team, the candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution bespoke programmes and initiatives. This includes project management, conducting research and monitoring progress to address evolving community needs, foster innovative giving models and collaborate with stakeholders across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement bespoke philanthropic programmes and initiatives, including creating actionable plans and monitoring frameworks to meet donor goals and community needs.
- Work closely with donor advisors to understand donors’ needs and aspirations, providing efficient support for the successful delivery of bespoke services.
- Support the grantmaking process, including research, due diligence on charities, and coordination with diverse stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, funders, and charities to facilitate effective communication and programme alignment.
- Conduct research and analyze emerging trends in philanthropy, sustainability, and social impact to inform programme design and donor strategies.
- Monitor and report on key success metrics for programmes, including community outcomes and impact, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Support the exploration of innovative giving models and approaches, staying informed about trends and research in the philanthropic and sustainability sectors.
- Provide administrative support for philanthropy initiatives, including budgeting, reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all programmes and donor engagements.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public policy, environmental sustainability, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with philanthropy, grantmaking or social impact initiatives.
- Core competencies in grantmaking and grant management.
- Domain knowledge/expertise on one or more of the following sectors will be a definite advantage – environment/sustainability, economic, social, health and care needs and the philanthropic sector.
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences, stakeholders, funders and partners.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and proactively address challenges, ensuring effective and efficient resolution in dynamic environments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and evaluate programme outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (such as PowerPoint and Excel).
- A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment by effectively collaborating across teams and functions to achieve shared goals and drive impactful outcomes.
