Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution and continuous improvement of our global benefits programs including but not limited to providing clear end-to-end process operation framework, leading benefits program implementation and communication, maintaining benefits system and policy portals, addressing benefits-related questions from employees, conducting employee surveys as well as ensuring consistency of work and HR service is delivered on a day-to-day basis
• Administering benefits, leave of absence (LOA), and workers’ compensation processes, reporting benefits plan information to management and ensuring that policies are renewed on time and they do not lapse
• Conducting audits of benefits packages and policies to ensure that the company’s processes are compliant and support in Regional BIK reporting
• Partner with COE to work on compensation and benefits projects or programs and to deliver training and benefits program updates, to ensure benefits awareness among HR professionals and employees about changes to the benefits and tax implications
• Customize engagement campaigns / knowledge sharing sessions (both onsite and virtual) that is essential and is valuable for our stakeholders
• Identify pain points in a timely manner by undertaking regular reviews and flag out to Team Leader with potential alternative / solution
• Develop effective communication and relationships with internal stakeholders and manage external vendors such as brokers and health providers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline
• Minimum of 5-8 years’ HR experience
• Preferably with Global experience of at least 3 to 5 countries in the recent employment
• Solid knowledge of benefits insurance renewal process and hands on in enrollment process and local reporting
• Strong passion for HR Operations and Benefits, someone who enjoys ideating solutions and seek challenges yet be detail oriented, and manage confidentiality
• Excellent analytical skills to research and evaluate benefits programs to make informed choices
• Ability to operate with a large degree of autonomy and be proactive and understands general HR policies, current best practice, work visa procedures and current best practice overseas regions and present information clearly and in a manner that is understandable to managers and employees
• Communicate and bring up issues efficiently with clarity, has a customer service mindset and portray strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Reliable team player, energetic and have the ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) as have to liaise with China Counterparts

Job Description:

• Site Management: Oversee all aspects of site operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, security, and car park management.
• Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and manage the scheduling of maintenance activities, including both routine and ad hoc tasks, to ensure efficient site operations.
• Liaison with Contractors: Coordinate with external contractors for hard and soft services, such as repairs, installations, housekeeping, and security, to ensure service quality and compliance with site standards.
• M&E Oversight: Manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring they are regularly maintained and meet safety and performance standards.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and compliance with local regulations, conducting regular checks and audits as needed.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues promptly, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth operations.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Facilities Management Services / Estate Management / Building Maintenance/ Engineering.

Job Objective

Monitors and controls the safe and cost-efficient technical operation of all assigned vessels using the available resources, within the defined parameters of cost, commercial viability, and operational excellence in line with Owners' expectations. Ensure environmental compliance policies are upheld.

Support ship management centre’s (SMC) strategic goals

• Assists in promoting and supporting BSM’s strategic goals

Ship technical support

• Understands the contractual agreements with customers to be able to deliver the same with regards to the ship management services for each assigned vessel, in a safe and cost efficient manner.
• Keeps close contact with clients, maintains good working relationships with client representatives who are involved in the operations of the company's vessels
• Provides technical and operational support to assigned vessels

Safety of Operations

• Monitors the effective operation of the equipment and machinery of the assigned vessels, identifying potential discrepancies from operational standards and proposes and/or implements solutions that will enhance the efficiency, performance and safety of the vessels.
• Participates in the development of the maintenance and repairs plan for the assigned vessels and monitors its accurate execution
• Arranges and executes Drydock activities at regular intervals
• Develops, maintains, monitors and reports budgets for all assigned vessels
• Monitors all vessels trading certificates to ensure compliance with existing maritime legislation, safety regulations and operational standard requirements of all regulatory bodies.

Execution of technical inspections / internal audits

• Manages all vessel visits, audits and inspections effectively right from planning to implementation and follow up with the aim of supporting and enhancing the operational efficiency of the assigned vessels.
• Responsible for communication, promotion and implementation of company's health, safety, environment and quality policy on board the vessels related to technical.
• In liaison with Loss Prevention, Safety and Quality (LPSQ) and Fleet Personnel Department (FPD), assists and supports sea staff with alignment of technical requirements.
• Assists with the Company initiatives regarding the human element

Purchasing activities

• Ensures ship requisitions are handled timely and as per quality document management system (QDMS) procedures

Management of resources

• Coach, engage, motivate, mentor employees to develop their strengths and build their capabilities as per their defined roles and personal goal
• Identifies training needs and provides on board training to ship staff during ship visits.

Requirements

Education and Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent, or
• Chief Engineer’s qualification

Work Experience:

• 3 years of sailing experience as Senior Officer, or
• 3 years of shore experience as a technical superintendent with a ship management/owning company
• Preferably experienced on the same type of vessel as candidate is expected to supervise

Requirements

➢ Experience in Murex 3.1 as a DataMart Consultant with 4 to 5 years of experience
➢ Good understanding and working experience of designing and implementing Datamart:
➢ Experience in Murex Development/Migration of DataMart reporting MX 2.11, MX3 Murex DataMart reports
➢ Good understanding of the data model differences between Mx 2.11 and Mx 3.1
➢ Experience in Simulation-based Reports and Risk Matrix-based reports, complex reports would be required
➢ Good exposure dynamic tables, pre and post filters, feeders, batch of feeders, extractions, reporting tables, and processing scripts
➢ SQL based reports and extractions
➢ Optimization of feeders and reports would be an advantage
