• Understanding current technical capabilities and developing strategies to ensure pre- and post-sale technical competency for NetApp solutions and tools needed to support the partner’s business plan and growth objectives.
• Build strong, trusted advisor relationships with key people like the technology leaders and principals at top partners and alliances.
• In collaboration with the Partner Business Manager, and other members of the partner team, construct a business plan and technical sales, support and enablement strategy (Technical Account Plan) that will address both the Partner needs and NetApp’s account strategy.
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, presales, product management, engineering) to provide feedback from partners and influence product development.

Education and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in customer facing organizations within IT industry or equivalent
• A Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science; or related field is required
• Experience working with partnerships (e.g. VAR/VAD, System Integrators, Technology Partners) preferred
• Successful experience in building long term personal relationships with senior level Partners.
• NetApp technical skills preferred.
• Specialized knowledge in infrastructure including virtualization & server/network/storage. Knowledge and experience in Cloud Technologies preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out all routine and defect-based maintenance duties in accordance with maintenance plans
• Assisting with the monitoring of contractors involved in maintenance on site
• Contributing to the development of asset maintenance plans
• To properly document the maintenance jobs done.
• To ensure compliance of regulatory requirements, code of practices as applicable to the workplace
• To identify, plan and initiate action to procure and maintain spares required for the reliability and availability of the assets within the allotted budget.
• Support the operation of plant as required in a safe, efficient and timely manner in accordance with operational guidelines and to meet output requirements
• Responsible for ensuring that assets are operated and maintained to meet performance requirements and providing support for Operations and Maintenance.
• Assist in ensuring that the following maintenance guidelines are followed.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Power Plants or related industries
• Candidates should ideally have good knowledge of plant processes and operations, with relevant experience in Power Plants or related industries
• Self-motivated, independent, and possess sound analytical and communication skills, and is a team player.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, gearboxes). Experience in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of static equipment such as heat exchangers, boilers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems .
• Ability to perform gasket replacements, flange management, and bolt torquing to ensure leak-free joints
• Knowledge on Gas/Steam turbines, HRSG, water treatment plant equipment will be an added advantage .
• Familiarity with Condition Monitoring techniques and Predictive Maintenance tools
• Basic understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) interfaces with mechanical systems.

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervises all technical aspects / performance of assigned vessels' operation including maintenance, repair, safety and environmental protection to ensure that these are carried out in a flawless, efficient, competitive and customer focused operation and according to the international and flag state legislation and to initiate corrective actions when such performance is not compliant with the Company's standards. Collects all necessary information in order to timely compile the dry-docking and major repair specification and participates in the planning and monitoring of major repairs and/or dry-docking repairs and services.

2. Drafts and controls fleet's technical annual budget (e.g., spares, stores, lubricants) in order to develop and implement competitive budgets and maintain the commercial competitiveness of the fleet.

3. Monitors the superintendent engineers' visits on the vessels in order to check and evaluate their condition and maintenance progress; to issue further instructions on maintenance and repair activities; to file, record and report findings to the Technical Director.

4. Reviews and evaluates quotations for all technical spares, supplies, repair services, lubricants, paints, and engine stores to be purchased and authorizes the purchase order depending on the costs.

5. Cooperates closely with the claims department for the process of damage claims and collect all necessary technical information in order to provide technical back-up in support of such claims.

6. Informs immediately the Technical Director in case of emergency.

7. Coordinates and liaises with other departments within the company to collectively provide an efficient ship management service. More specifically, assists the Insurance Dept. on collection of necessary documentation; interacts with the Purchasing Dept. for procurement cycle follow up, spares, supplies and services in coordination with the vessels; coordinates with MSQ Dept. and the DPAs to ensure that assigned vessel are in full compliance with company's SMS (:e.g., certificates, NCRs, documents etc.); works with Crew Dept. and contributes to the recruitment, training and appraisals of the seafarers employed by the company; and cooperates with other superintendents (i.e., marine) and/or fleet operators to safeguard fleet's and company's best interest and achieve optimum vessels' performance.

8. If needed, visit the managed vessels to assess their condition during PSC and/or attends dry-dock and repairs in order to monitor their progress and ensure their effective completion.
